personailty: Buttercup is everything a princess should be: sweet, charming, enchanting and all that jazz but there's also more to her. She wasn't born a princess, just a simple milk maid, so not everything about her is "princess-like". She has stubborn, strong-willed, daring and brave (...unless faced with an impending marriage of doom). Those qualities make her the perfect princess to her beloved pirate, Westley, The Dread Pirate Roberts. She improved herself physically for Westley but she knows she'd never have to change anything about her because he loves her just the way she is no matter what.
appearance: Buttercup is the most beautiful girl to come from Florin in a hundred years. She has golden hair that falls to the middle of her back. It use to be longer, to the small of her back, but she recently had it cut and gave it to Locks of Love. Her face has a round quality to it while still remaining angular with prominent cheekbones. She'd lost all her baby fat by the time she was sixteen when she decided to improve herself for Westley (basically included bathing more and taking care of herself). She has large hazel eyes that are surrounded by dark blonde lashes that she usually coats in mascara. Her nose is actually the right size for her face, even if some may say it's too small, and it's very angular. The same could be said about her lips if you were being critical.

She is very thin but not to the point of sickness. She just very active, which also makes her light to lift up. Even though her limbs are so thin, she's actually very strong for her height, which is six inches over five feet. She always had the potential to be as beautiful as a princess but it took her love for Westley to make it possibly and now she is one...if almost unhappily.
history: Princess Buttercup Rose Florin wasn't born a Princess. In fact, she was a milk maid on a small farm who only enjoyed riding her horse (named Horse) and tormenting the farm boy named Westley. The biggest thing she did not enjoy was bathing. Over the years, she discovered she loved Westley and then he left to seek his fortune. She began taking care of herself, bathing more and more, and slowly but surely she was soon at her full potential. She was the most beautiful girl to come from Florin in a hundred years and she didn't care a whit about it because she received news that came so close to killing her.

Word reached her family's small farm that Westley's ship had been taken hostage by the Dread Pirate Roberts who never leaves captives alive. Westley was surely dead and Buttercup vowed to never love again. Almost a year later, Count Tyrone Rugen found the lovely milk maid and before she knew it, she was Princess Buttercup, in princess lessons and engaged to the prince of Florin, Humperdinck. She didn't want any of this. She only wanted her Westley back. Little did she know, her Westley hadn't died but had taken over to the Dread Pirate Roberts. He came home to her before going off to school himself with her following quickly after. The engagement to Prince Humperdinck was forgotten and she and Westley became engaged on Valentine's Day 2010. For some reason unknown to her, Prince Humperdinck has now shown up, convinced their engagement is still binding, it's been years since the engagement and she's practically married to Westley already but Humperdinck is convinced. Princess Buttercup has to figure out how to get out of the engagement with Prince Humperdinck so she can live happily ever after with her Westley but can she do it? Now that will be an adventure.
other: she's engaged to Westley on her own but the Kingdom of Florin engaged her to Prince Humperdinck...she's got a dilemma... XD
