personality: Theo is not mad, most definitely, though perhaps he is a little bit strange. Quiet and unassuming, he's quite happy to lurk in the background, focusing on the things he finds important. He loves tea and could quite probably wax lyrical about it for hours on end if he got going, riddles, as well, are a personal favourite of his, and he adores hearing or sharing new ones, delighting in working them out. He is a little bit OCD about cleanliness, particularly when it comes to his tea things, not wanting anything to sully the perfect cup of tea. Perhaps a little strange, yes, but not nearly as mad as he could be...
appearance: Theo keeps himself quite neat, not a dedicated follower of fashion but definitely taking time to make himself presentable and appropriately attired for whatever he might be doing, and even when dressed casually it still has a certain style to it, he believes being well-dressed is only polite, and one must definitely have the very best hat to finish off one's outfit.
history: Theo was born to the heiress of a large tea-exporting company, and a very gifted and famous milliner - his trade so finely taught and family-inherited that they still bore the surname from those days when people were named after their work.
His parents both pressed their crafts upon him as he grew, creating an expert in both areas, and the pressure to be perfect perhaps made him a little strange. Like Alice, he is not inherently from Wonderland, but he did visit there a little more often than she, and that was where he discovered his penchant for riddles, making friends there with the strange, nonsensical creatures who would teach him new ones. Otherwise his childhood was quite ordinary, but this combined pressure from all corners was what probably made him the odd creature he is today. Though he is not yet as odd as he will be when one day he murders time...
