Personality: The fact that Loki is a trickster tells you almost everything you need to know about his personality, or that's what most people think. They're quick to dismiss him as mean-spirited and cruel, but that's not quite true. He doesn't care enough about people to be cruel, he does what he does because he cares mostly about himself and he likes to have fun - he's not above pretending to care about people though, if it'll get them into bed. Yes, like most gods Loki enjoys his carnal entertainments, and he's none too fussy about who (or what) with.
Generally speaking he's laid-back, witty, and actually pretty pleasant to be around as long as you don't expect him to conform to normal social niceties.
Appearance: As a god, Loki can look however he wants to look, so it's no surprise that he chose a rather handsome form this time around, favouring rakish good looks accentuated by the most stylish of clothes. He enjoys seduction so of course he always wants to look his best - that doesn't mean he's always completely tidy, as he's well aware that being just a little artfully scruffy can often be quite enticing too.
Physically he's slim but muscular, wanting to be trim and powerful but not the type to go overboard on the muscles, brute strength was never his thing but he at least has the physicality to be able to defend himself where his mouth can't get him out of something.
History: Loki is the son of Farbauti and Laufey, making him half jotunn (or giant). As with all gods, Loki didn't really need to bother with that pesky growing up, or rather, he got that over with pretty quickly and without much incident so he could get on with the real good stuff.
His relationship with the other gods was ever-changing due to his trickster nature, sometimes he would just be causing problems for them, other times they were outright enemies - although sometimes he actually helped them out. There was one memorable incident with Thor and some cross-dressing, he'll probably tell you that if you get him drunk. Or if you just ask, it's an entertaining story.
It wasn't just the gods that kept him occupied, however. Loki liked to play his tricks on, well, anybody and everybody. Being a shapeshifter made it easy - it also made it very easy to seduce a lot of different kinds of people, and he has a lot of children - only a few of them from his wife, Sigyn.
Generally his life has been spent sleeping around, playing pranks and having fun, and he doesn't intend that to be any different now he's come to teach at Tintagel.

TELLtheTALE
Sample Post: So, this was Tintagel was it... well, it wasn't exactly a patch on Asgard but then, what was? At least this place wasn't full of the other gods, they weren't exactly fond of him just now.
Humourless morons, the lot of them, sometimes they just couldn't take a joke. Still, it gave him a reason to come investigate this place and see what havoc he could wreak, and he did enjoy the chance to do that.
He'd packed light, after all, what did he need luggage for? With his powers he could get anything he needed, whether it was calling it into existance or just tricking people into giving it to him, he'd be settled in in no time.
First though, he wanted to exercise some of that authority they'd handed him when they agreed to let him teach - what kind of idiots were running this school that they agreed to that? He didn't know, nor did he care, he was here now.
"Now, where's my office?" He asked out-loud, smirking to himself.
