She couldn’t deny it - Cal had made her super hot up there. A little bit something else too. She couldn’t help but smile, and ran her hand through her hair as she took a deep breath.

“The attention bit I’d figured out.” She said with a raised eyebrow. “It must be cool to have a musical family though. I don’t think anyone in my family can sing so much as a note. Not in tune anyway.” She thought for a moment. “Maybe Tristian, but I don’t think he’d sing in public.” She noted the comment about emotions and hurting people, and she made a mental note to pay close attention to any lyrics Cal might come out with in the future.

She glanced around at Cal’s question, deciding she was ready for the next adventure. She grinned at Cal, biting her lip again - more deliberately this time. “I’m entirely in your hands.” She said quietly, leaning forward slightly. “If it’s time for the next part of your plan, let’s go.”

Cal shrugged. "Very artistic family, and open. and super gay," she flashed another toothy smile at that, one that only twitched slightly at the mention of the name Tristian. Well, at least Cal hadn't done anything... too much with Sir Not-Knight...

Man, she was sort of hoping Suzy wasn't a Summer. That would be all kinds of awkward.
Or that one guy in the library.
Or the blonde from the dorm.

Bitten lips distracted Cal from thoughts of anyone else. "Plan? "she said, laughing lightly. "What makes you think I thought anything out," she gave a wink and leaned forward, giving Genevieve a quick kiss. Her teeth caught those lips for a moment, and as she pulled back, Cal was licking hers. "Sorry, you just made it look to tempting."

Cal actually released the hand as she rose, gathering her jacket and signaling to the owner that they were heading out. Cal waved at a few other people as she began sauntering, turning to beckon Genevieve to follow her with wiggling fingers.

[Genevieve]

"Sounds great." Genevieve was almost wistful at the thought of what Cal's family must be like. She adored her family, and they were fairly open, but, well, there was her Dad. Who was not open, or liberal, or anything close. And for a bookworm like Genevieve, a father who thought girls shouldn't read didn't make for the best relationship.

As Cal leant forward to kiss her again, Genevieve leaned into it, taken by surprise by the nip. Good surprise though, and as Cal pulled away Genevieve felt disappointed, unable to hide the look of longing on her face as she looked at Cal. She tried to pull herself together, but her knees felt weak, and she realised her nails were digging into the palm of her hand. "Yeah, this has all clearly been totally spontaneous so far." She smiled, standing as Cal released her hand.

She followed her to the door, giving a shy smile to the people behind the counter and a muttered 'thanks'. Heading outside, she wrapped her arms around herself and turned to Cal. "So where next?"

Totally spontaneous... well, Cal had set up the general structure. The flower seller, the shop, everything, but she'd been playing within the boundaries of those rules. "Wanted to make sure your first date was something you'd always remember," she admitted as they were heading out.

They stepped out of the shop, and Cal took a breath, letting it out slowly. No air stirred in front of her; that happened sometimes. She looked to Genevieve, seeing the arms. Cal moved to slide her jacket off her shoulders, draping it around the other girl. "Well, I was planning to head to the park," she said, nodding that direction. "Figured you'd like a walk around, and I promise there's only one person set to ambush us there," she winked.

Then Cal hesitated for a moment, almost chewing her lip. The good part of her nearly screamed, insisted that they stop at that. That they walk through the park. Maybe make out under a bench. But the other suggestion just lay there on the tip of her tongue:

we could go back to the dorms.

Don't. No. She couldn't. She wanted to. Badly. Worse than she figured. Her mouth opened, and she shook her head, walking forward. "Come on, maybe I can serenade you by a bridge next,' she winked, walking backward yet again as she headed toward the park.

Well she'd certainly managed that, Genevieve wasn't going to be forgetting any of this in a hurry. She didn't really know what the standard procedure was for first dates, but she was pretty sure that this was exceeding most expectations. Smiling as she felt Cal place her jacket over her shoulders, she pulled it around herself, giving Cal a grateful look.

"The park?" Well that sounded innocent enough - although she wasn't entirely sure whether or not to believe Cal on the ambushing front. "At this point I'm willing to believe anything could happen." She said with a sidelong glance at Cal, her eyes twinkling. She followed Cal as she began heading off, laughing at her walking backwards again. "You know I won't disappear if you take your eyes off me." She teased, hugging the jacket around her. "Although if you're worried, you can keep hold of me to make sure." She reached out her hand for Cal to take.

As she walked, she couldn't help but let her mind wander ever so slightly, forward into the night and into what else might be coming. It had been a memorable night so far, but Genevieve couldn't help but hope that there was more memorable things to come. After all, there are lots of dark hiding places in a park.

"I do aim for a sense of magic and mystery," replied Cal. Disappearing teases had her letting out a light laugh. "Can you blame me for wanting to stare?" she asked, but she turned around, slowing down her pace to match Genevieve's. Since she'd been given the go ahead, she did reach for the other girl. But instead of taking the hand, she slid her arm around Genevieve's waist, just above the hip. She slid her hands just a bit teasingly, almost glad that Genevieve had opted for a dress instead of pants of some kind. Her fingers would very nearly reach the other girl's belly, and it took quite a bit of effort for them not to rise farther.

They kept walking, and Cal just let the night settle for the moment. Some of the town started to slide away as they entered the park, bits of civilization giving way to a little reserve of nature. It seemed almost ridiculous, given that Trenale was all but surrounded by wilderness, but there it was. A carefully trimmed and maintained patch of land, with a handful of other couples wandering about in various states of innocence.

Cal found herself humming for a few beats, the lyrics eventually drifting out: "Girl, you know I want your love
Your love was handmade for somebody like me; Come on now, follow my lead; I may be crazy, don't mind me; Say, girl, let's not talk too much;," her hand rubbed gently against Genevieve's waist for a moment, since Cal knew the next beats:" Grab on my waist and put that body on me; Come on now, follow my lead~" light, no backing, the words almost sung along, as they walked oh so casually through the park.

As Cal's arm wound around her waist, Genevieve leaned into Cal a little enjoying the closeness and feeling a flutter in her stomach at the touch. She walked contentedly in the quiet, allowing herself to just enjoy the feel of Cal's hand on her waist, the feel of the side of her body pressed against Genevieve's. As the entered the park, she barely noticed anyone else nearby, completely lost in the moment and in Cal, especially as she began to hum and sing.

She thought she recognised the song, especially as lyrics began to appear, and she thought carefully, trying to work out what the song was, and what it was about. She remembered what Cal had said about songs and emotions, and she couldn't help but try and work out what the message might be in Cal's song. Of course, it was entirely possible she just had the song in her head, and Genevieve wondered if she was reading too much into things.

She knew she was definitely thinking too much, she had been since she met Cal earlier in the evening. She wanted to stop thinking, to stop anticipating and to just be in the moment, the way she had done in the cafeteria. She stopped walking suddenly and turned to face Cal, lifting her hands up to cup Cal's face and pull her closer. Reaching up, she kissed Cal, her arms snaking around her neck as she finally began to let go of some of those pesky inhibitions.

A sudden stop? Had Cal messed up or something? "You know there's still--" she began, only to find hands cupping her face. Lips took hers again. Cal's opened up in time, kissing back. She couldn't stop herself, didn't want to stop herself as she leaned into the kiss. Hands that had been gently touching a back moved to pull Genevieve closer, almost lift the girl up. Lean muscles tightened for just a second as desire pumped blood into them, insisting upon its demands in a voice that could no longer be ignored. Hunger poured out of the lean punk girl as she tilted Genevieve back, almost threatening to consume her.

The arms would hold Genevieve upright, at the least. But this time, this time Cal couldn't quite fully control herself. She'd been trying so hard, so desperately. Don't ravage the innocent maid, particularly not when she practically begged for it. It went against everything Cal liked and stood for. Free love, make your own decision, damn consequence. That older sister, protective part of Cal wanted Genevieve to be loved and appreciated, not simply wanted. And Cal didn't think she could manage that...

...except she certainly did appreciate, didn't she? She wanted, oh, she wanted. And hungered. Her lips parted and took the kiss somewhere entirely new to communicate that in those instances, as if she could suck down Genevieve's breath while communicating her hunger. The lean predator would release, as soon as she got a signal from Genevieve that release was actually wanted.

She could hardly breath, but she didn’t care. Her hands moved to run through Cal’s hair as she allowed Cal to take control of the kiss, to lead her in the dance they were caught in. She kissed back, pressing against Cal and finding a hunger inside her she didn’t know existed, but that was overtaking all her other senses. She wanted more, and as a noise of pleasure escaped her throat she seemed to forget everything, who she was, where she was - there was only Cal and this kiss.

Her hands moved from Cal’s hair to her face as if she could hold Cal there, keeping them locked together in this moment. She felt Cal’s lips part and she responded, letting her natural instinct take over as her inhibitions faded altogether. Sure, when the kiss ended and Genevieve came back to herself there would be blushes and bashful looks, but in this moment that Genevieve was gone, and the one that had replaced her wanted more, wanted everything Cal could give her.

Pausing, Genevieve took a breath and opened her eyes, her mouth still pressed against Cal’s as she looked into her eyes. She was almost panting, her breathing shaky, but her whispered words were confident and firm as she spoke against Cal’s lips. “Don’t stop.”

There were depths here. Such depths, echoed in a noise that was being let out. This girl wanted it, wanted to drop her guard, wanted to step outside of the good girl wrapper. Hadn't Genevieve said something about a spotlight? Cal was practically a walking one, beaming wherever she went, certainly attracting attention. Don't think she didn't notice Genevieve clinging to her as if to pull more of that light in.

Lips parted in time, kiss turning into something more than just a friendly gesture of affection. The more Genevieve pushed, the less reserve Cal had for the moment. Girl wanted wild, girl wanted awake, girl wanted to shed some innocence, she couldn't have picked someone better for that in the short term. Cal could do more than just show; she could guide, could introduce a whole new world if Genevieve wanted.

Fuck, Cal wasn't sure she could stop herself at this point. Eyes locked to hers, lips dangerously close, breaths mixed. Confident insistence passed. "Deal," replied Cal. She moved forward, nipping at Genevieve's lips. She moved, knowing to at least take them into the shadows. Hands started to roam, driven forth. Don't stop meant don't stop here. Cal had every intention of finding a dark place in the park to thoroughly enjoy Genevieve and show her what she was asking. There wasn't hesitation in the lean girl's movements: there was only confident guidance, guidance and hands that did more than promise now.

[Genevieve]

She couldn’t help but grin at Cal’s response, before the other Genevieve took over again, the Genevieve with the hunger, the desire, the need to feel Cal’s lips on hers, to feel her hands on her body. She moved with Cal, allowing her to take them into the shadows. As she felt Cal’s hands begin to roam, she gave in to her natural instinct once more, her own hands sliding down Cal’s back and finding the waistband of her pants, and continuing further.

She couldn’t think, wouldn’t think, and just allowed herself to get lost in this moment, to let Cal show her things she had never experienced before, to guide her and lead her where they both wanted this to go. As Genevieve’s breath caught in her throat, as moans of pleasure crept from her mouth to Cal’s Genevieve knew there was no turning back from this point. But she didn’t want to go back.

“Show me what to do.”

"And then some," promised Cal, her voice soft, her hands already moving. She knew what to do, and she guided Genevieve softly, moving toward the dark, letting the shadows hide what they would be doing. It only needed to be between the two of them, emotions and secrets exchanged in the night. Secrets given and received gladly.

It would be some time later; Cal couldn't tell the definite time. She'd be standing off a bit to the side, not quite cuddling against Genevieve. Not that Cal had anything against cuddling, even though partner after partner had complained smilingly of her cold body. Genevieve had too, until the girl had drifted off. She lay some feet away, covered by Cal's jacket and little else, with Cal standing lookout. Let Genevieve recover for a bit, simply enjoy herself, while Cal made sure they didn't get interrupted. Anyone too curious would be driven off by the lean dhampyr.

As Genevieve stirred slightly, however, Cal slid back, kneeling next to her. She reached down, brushing aside some hair and leaning forward to lightly kiss the slumbering princess. "Hey," she said softly as she saw eyelids start fluttering, smiling softly down at the girl.

[Genevieve]

She didn't want to open her eyes just yet, she didn't want to return back to this plain from the one she'd been inhabiting so recently. But as she felt a hand brush her hair, and lips lightly kissing her own, she slowly opened her eyes, blinking a few times to focus her blurry vision. She smiled as she saw Cal's face above her own, slowly reaching up to stroke the other girl's face gently.

"Hi." She spoke softly, her voice betraying the fact that she had not quite entirely returned to earth yet. She stretched a little, slowly sitting up, holding Cal's jacket against her as she looked around, remembering where they were. A mischievous smile lit up her features - there were no blushes now. Glancing around, she spotted her dress to the side and reached for it, pulling it over her head before returning Cal's jacket to her with a smirk.

"Did I ruin your plans?" She asked with a raised eyebrow, wondering what time it was. She had no idea how long they had been there, but she didn't care. She felt like a different person; a threshold had been crossed that could never return to, and as she hugged her knees to her chest, guarding against the chill she was beginning to feel, she couldn't have been happier.

That sleepy little voice, it stirred something in Cal. Something that lay higher than what frequently stirred whenever she saw one of her partners waking up, hair a mess, wearing her clothes draped over them. It might have done a slight quiver at that smile too, the one that had caught Cal's attention back in the cafeteria. Shame I'm not made for commitment, huh?

Cal leaned forward all the same, lightly kissing the beautiful girl. "Couldn't have planned this," Cal admitted, smiling in a way that made her eyes dance for a moment, "wouldn't have wanted to," she stretched, rising up and standing next to Genevieve, sentinel again. The night air caressed her skin, but like her mother, cold didn't bother Cal all that much. She'd leave the jacket with Genevieve for at least a while longer.

"I had a guy," she said, smiling as she nodded toward the park. "Was supposed to be set up to give us some ice cream to enjoy. Before I walked you home, of course. I'm a proper lady, I am," she winked at Genevieve, then took a breath, releasing it slowly. Should she tell Genevieve how proper? The titles and so forth? She knew some of Genevieve's... No, no need to ruin the night. They were close to crystallizing a perfect first date for Genevieve, with a first time that was way better than Cal's own (which had been pretty decent as far as those go). Cal wouldn't let that happen: Genevieve deserved it. She smiled down at the girl now, feeling that little fluttering in her chest again.

Tilting her head upwards to meet Cal’s kiss, Cal would be able to feel the smile on Genevieve’s face as their lips connected. As Cal stood again, Genevieve gratefully pulling her jacket around her shoulders - Cal might not be so affected by the cold but Genevieve certainly was, and as she stood to join Cal she couldn’t suppress a shiver. Bringing a hand up to run her fingers through her hair in an attempt to smooth it, she pulled a few dry leaves from her hair, the mischievous smile making another appearance.

She glanced in the direction Cal nodded, slipping her hand into Cal’s and lacing their fingers together. “Ice cream, huh?” Genevieve smiled. “I guess he’ll have given up waiting by now?” She reached up to kiss Cal affectionately, her confidence having grown more than she could have imagined. “This has been incredible.” She spoke quietly, smiling at Cal and squeezing her hand.

A part of her wondered if she should be feeling some sense of shame or embarrassment at what had just happened - she dreaded to think what her mother would say if she knew Genevieve’s first time had been in the shadows in the local park. But a bigger part of her didn’t care - she felt different, and not just in the way she might have expected after her first. There was more to it, and as she looked at Cal and felt that flutter in her chest again, that odd tightening in her stomach, the quickening of her heart, she didn’t want this evening to end, though she knew it had to. She wanted to be with a Cal constantly, she didn’t want Cal to leave her side. She Felton a difference in herself with Cal next to her, kissing her, holding her hand; she felt that spotlight beginning to brighten, and she didn’t want it to fade again.
