Name: Blossom Snow – but call him John Black.
Age: 17
Parents: Olaf (adopted)
Personality: Blossom - sorry, John – hates his life. He hates his name. He hates his Dad. He hates Arendelle. He really hates snow. John is moody and sullen, usually has headphones on blasting some horrendous screaming death metal, and if he actually graces you by speaking to you, you should consider yourself honoured. He likes to be miserable, he likes the dark, he loves Halloween and has a morbid obsession with death. Oh, and he’s an arsonist.
Appearance: John is a goth. He dyes his hair black, stays out of the sun to avoid any colour to his skin at all, and wears dark black eyeliner. He has a lip piercing, numerous ear piercings, an eyebrow piercing and is working on getting a few more. He doesn’t have any tattoos yet, but when he does he’s planning on something involving the gruesome death of a snowman. His hair is long enough to cover most of his face, and he wears black. Only black. He wears black jeans with chains hanging off them, black t-shirts with various offensive slogans and images, and long black coats with various metal rings and chains hanging off them. He will only ever be seen wearing New Rock boots, huge and heavy with a substantial platform – John is also quite short, something else he hates.
History: John was adopted by Olaf as a baby. Olaf decided he would make an excellent father, despite being back in snowman form now he had returned to Arendelle, and without informing anyone he trundled off to the local orphanage and brought home a little baby boy, who he promptly named Blossom. Growing up with a single parent snowman father who was overly affectionate was something Blossom always found difficult to cope with, and he started to rebel at an early age, usually by setting fire to things. The second he realised snowmen can’t go near fire, Blossom found his favourite thing. He started insisting people called him John when he was 5, despite his dad’s protestations and tears, and stopped letting Olaf hug him when he was 3. He really hates hugs.
He grew up in Arendelle, confused by his family tree and harbouring a deep resentment of everyone in the castle. He could not be more different from his father, and that is entirely deliberate. He spent most of his time shut in his room blaring out death metal loud enough to make the walls shake, refusing to come out and socialise with any of his family. Eventually it was suggested to Olaf that perhaps sending John away to school might be good for him, and so, with a lot of tears (from Olaf), John set off to school. At least it gets him away from his dad. I mean, an overly-affectionate snowman with the mind of a child? How could John not be messed up? Tintagel has a therapist, right?
