Giselle was going for a nice long walk and re-exploring the school. It had been quite some time since she had been on the extended walk anyway. Now that she had found Bartok again, she felt more like herself. She knew that whatever happened, she and Bartok would still be friends. And they had had plenty of hugs which always made her feel warm and cozy on the inside. Especially because it was Bartok and she had missed him. It would take some getting used to that he was older now, but he was still Bartok, and that was good.
Giselle spun in a circle and that was when she saw the girl. Giselle froze mid-spin. The girl was just lying in the grass. Her arms were laying over her chest. She was so pale that she looked...well dead. Her long skirts were splayed all around her. She was a picture of loveliness as she lie there. Giselle absolutely didn't know what to do.
Small birds were on the ground beside the girl and squirrels were making their way towards her. Giselle ran, followed by a few rabbits and chipmunk or two over to the girl. She poked her delicate pale arm quickly. "Are you dead or sleeping?" she asked, very unsure. "Please don't be dead."
Snow’s eyes opened first, just seconds after her arm was touched. ”Oh my,” she breathed, blinking her big brown eyes at the light. She raised a pale hand to her face and delicately brushed a hair from her cheek. She rose slowly, gracefully to the sound of twittering birds. It was a lovely sound. She instinctively extended a finger for a bluebird to land.
”Good morning, little bluebird” She said sweetly, sleepily. She then turned her head to address who had woke her. It was a kind looking woman with red hair. She appeared rather worried. Snow had to think for a moment before it occurred to her why this might be. She glanced around slowly, a bit of confusion etched on her face.
”Oh dear…” She said, shaking her head sadly. ”I’m afraid I must have fainted.” She said to the girl. She recalled an apple and an old woman. Had the witch done this? Where was the dwarves’ cottage?
Giselle let out an audible sigh of relief when the girl opened her eyes. She was alive. She had been so frightened for a moment because she didn't know what to do if the girl had been dead. The school wasn't set up for people to be dying yet so it was good that the girl was alive.
Giselle watched as the girl sat up. She looked so graceful and it seemed that she was a friend of animals too. Well, that was always a good indicator of people. At least, Giselle thought so. "I'm not sure but I'm glad you're awake," she told the other girl sincerely. "You scared me there. I thought you might be dead. I'm glad you're not though."
"Oh nooo" Snow giggled, brushing her free hand against her lips shyly. Of course she wasn't dead. Apples don't kill people. Neither do kind strangers giving them away. Something else must have happened, something magical. Whether it was good or bad magic remained to be seen. Snow had not encountered much good magic, but she had to believe if bad magic existed, so must good. This was life as she knew it. Evil did not exist without good to rise up and defeat it.
"I'm afraid I am a little lost" She chirped, raising her hand to let the bluebird take flight. She smiled at it as it flew away then glanced around again. Nothing looked familiar. She saw building in the distance, but not the Queen's castle. There were woods, but not any woods she had seen before. She was in a completely knew place with no knowledge of how she got there. It was a bit alarming, but she felt comforted by the presence of Giselle and her sweet little animals.
"And I've been terribly rude" She remarked guiltily "My name is Snow, Snow White" She said, clasping her hands together and tucking them under her chin to show her pleasure at meeting a new friend.
Giselle smiled as the girl assured her that she wasn't dead. She was so relieved to hear that. "Yes," Giselle breathed, motioning to the clearly alive girl. "Yes, you're very much alive. That much is clear." She giggled a little bit.
Giselle watched the bird take flight. "Oh, you're at a school. It's called Tintagel. It's magical." She gestured to the place where they were currently. "This is one of the fields. They do a lot of athletic things out here. But don't worry. I can show you around. I know where everything is."
Giselle wanted to pinch Snow's cheeks. She was just so adorable. "Oh, I'm Giselle," she replied. "It's very nice to meet you."

"Oh myyyy" Snow breathed as Giselle explained where she was. A magical school. Was she in a dream? Of course, she was happy living at home with her friends, but she loved to meet new people and learn new things. What better place to do that than a magical school? Of course, Snow hadn't had a lot of grand experiences with magic, but she knew there must be good as well as bad. Good magic had to be real or else the world wouldn't make sense. There would be no happiness if their was no good magic, because, just like all things, the world found a balance. Besides, if this was just an evil school for evil people, then how could she explain this lovely girl helping her just now?
"I would very much love to be shown around!" Snow chirped excitedly. She smiled brightly and her eyes shined with joy. She could find out how to see her friends again soon, but for now she could learn about her new surroundings. She would have so many stories to tell the dwarfs when she got home.
"Giselle" Snow repeated, confirming she'd heard it correctly. Snow made her way to her feet at last, carefully and gently. She pulled her dress out on one side and placed her free hand on her heart. She curtsied. "It it very wonderful to meet you too."
