It took all Judy had not to start nibbling at the grass tickling her nose right now. Turned out that being a vegetarian actually worked to her advantage here, since most of the meat would have to be hunted while there was quite a bit to gather and scavenge. More interestingly, most of the places that should have food: cafes, mess halls, stores, did seem to still have good food and supplied. Judy had heard something about magic, which still struck her as a little odd and somewhat silly.
Didn't mean there weren't supplies in this cafe.
Judy had been staking out the area for a while, long enough to realize that something lived in there. She'd had some experience dealing with the other Mess Hall's monster, and she'd figured this thing would be... less. Besides, she was just scouting, foraging, bunny stuff.
"Just go for it," she finally said, nodding. Judy pushed up then, running full tilt for the door. Her shoes (she still wasn't used to those) flapped against the ground... until they didn't. Something stuck to one of her foot, stopping the foot. Unfortunately, the rest of Judy went going, and she barely managed to catch herself, rolling to the side and staring. The movement in the cafe picked up, and she was really hoping that she hadn't caught the monster's attention.
"Please be someone else," she mumbled, already trying to pry her foot free.
