A bit of a time... Elsa looked over the plants. Yes, that would work, should work. Targeted bits of ice and snow would deal with certain sections, allowing for careful removal. Not only would she be helping everyone else, but Elsa would be working her own magics, gaining even greater control. She clenched her fist, raising it to her chest, almost as if to feel her own pulse. She took a breath and looked up.
"Yes, I think I could,' she agreed. She nodded, then looked to Anna. "We could help. I don't think everyone here would be comfortable with me. You remember what it was like back home," Elsa's expression darkened for a moment. Her eyes flashed toward the greenery. "But you can talk them out of it. People are going to need you around too," she felt her lips twitching. "It's going to take quite a few of us, actually. Maybe even that scruffy ice breaker of yours."
Elsa raised a hand, flicking snow in such a way that it not only hit the nearest vine, but got a little brushing against Anna's nose. Obviously Queen Elsa would never do that on purpose.

"I don't know... this place seems pretty magical, maybe there'll be other people here with powers?" she pointed out, a little excitement seeping into her voice. It would be great if Elsa could meet other people who were like her, then maybe she wouldn't feel so alone or worried all the time. Maybe she could even find love... the thought of it made Anna squeal a little, internally of course.
"But you know I'll be there to back you up if anybody does have a problem with you!" she added firmly. Nobody was mean to her sister without her doing something about it... unless that someone was her. But that was usually accidental or in the heat of the moment and totally didn't count.
She squeaked at the brush of frost across her nose, wriggling it uncomfortably before lifting a hand to wipe it off, shooting a playful glare at Elsa
"No fair, you can't start snowball fights that I can't join in!"
Other people with powers? Elsa could hear the excitement in Anna's voice, and it fed into some of her own. Except that Elsa almost immediately wanted to squash that. They'd not encountered anyone like her back home, so who was to say that they would here? Of course, by the same token, who was to say they wouldn't?
"Precisely, you and your gallant reindeer man," replied Elsa. She gave another flick, sending a few more flakes to hit freckles on Anna's face. "And it's perfectly fair. All you have to do is get powers of your own," she grinned, then flicked her wrist. "Stand back, Anna. I'm going to try and freeze a larger section."
Her gaze already went to the plants, tracing them, looking for a good place to start, a vine that would cover a good deal without being necessary. She thought she saw a few, but it was quite a puzzle. Perhaps she should just focus on the door? Elsa studied it closely, half expecting Anna to be pointing out a good spot before Elsa found one.

Anna felt her cheeks colouring at the mention of Kristoff. He had been very heroic and gallant... even if he was sort of grumpy. But things were confused and awkward right now, and though Anna was fairly sure they had a thing, she didn't know exactly what that thing was, or how she was supposed to be dealing with it.
"Powers of my own?" she repeated, startled "Do you think that's a possibility? Oooh, I wonder what kind of powers I'd have if I did..." she realised she'd been given an instruction and stepped back smartly, filing away that fun little consideration for later and focusing on what Elsa was trying to do instead. She seemed to be looking something... a good vine to start with, probably, a larger section as she said, but one that wouldn't do too much damage if it went wrong.
"What about that bit?" Anna asked, pointing to a vine curling around the top of the door.
That bit? Elsa followed Anna's finger, locating the bit of vine. She nodded, raised her hand. A blast of ice and cold shot forth, springing out as if shot. It caught the vine, wrapped it in chill, and all but pasted it to the side of the building. Frowning, Elsa dragged her hand down, spreading the chill slowly, the vine crackling as cold set in.
Then with an even louder crack, a chunk fell. Elsa stepped back, hand moving to cautiously sweep Anna with her. Bits of frozen plant and ice scattered about their feet in chunks. Some rolled, some simply splattered. Elsa nudged one with her foot.
"See?" she said, looking over at her sister and half-smiling again. "They'll need people to sweep up, if nothing else," she looked back at the vines, already aiming for another bit that curled around the side of the door, ready to start again, perhaps with a bit slower, a bit more steady of a buildup this time around.

Anna kind of loved watching her sister work, she knew Elsa was worried about her powers a lot of the time and she thought people were scared of them, but Anna just thought they were beautiful. She knew Elsa had the power to be scary, she'd seen it herself, but most of what she did was just wonderful, and it hadn't surprised her at all that the whole of Arendelle had embraced her powers (and her ice rinks) once she'd got better control of them. Being able to do something useful with them would be even better for her, in Anna's opinion.
"Oh great, so you get to do the cool stuff and I get a broom," she teased, though she was happy to help out, and it wasn't like she was used to cleaning, it was enough of a novelty that she'd be willing to pitch in even if it was just sweeping. She started nudging the chunks with her foot, marshalling them into a neater pile. Between the two of them, they could probably make a good dent in this building before anybody even noticed.
The cool stuff? Elsa actually had to stifle a laugh at that, if only because she was willing to bet that Anna didn't even realize what she'd said as she'd said it, or she'd already be laughing. The repressed laughter altered Elsa's aim slightly, and she had to pause, roll her shoulders, and retake aim.
Together they were making good time hacking out at least the entrance. Soon, most of the front of the facade would be frozen off, put into different chunks and mostly sorted into piles for later use. Elsa stood back, her hands almost seeming to smoke with icy magic. She stared up a the building for a few moments in silence, just taking in the sight.
Then, with her eyes nearly closed, Elsa began waving her hands. The ice appeared, but not directed toward a practical manner. No, instead Elsa had started sculpting, almost creating new additions, abstract shapes in blue and white extending out. Some mimicked the vines, a few even taking advantage of the last bits of green. But they mostly just shapes weaving in and out, forming odd sculptures with, well, no real purpose except to catch the light, which they did quite well.

Anna set about tidying up the chunks as they fell from the front of the building, quite impressed by how quickly they were tidying the place up working together. Of course the building was fairly huge and there was still a lot to do, but they'd made a big difference.
She watched Elsa begin adding things with a slowly growing amazement - she'd seen her sister's ice palace, and she'd seen Elsa use her powers plenty of times, but this was the first time she'd seen something of this kind of scale taking shape in front of her, and it was absolutely breathtaking.
"It looks beautiful," she breathed, staring at the newly decorated facade.
The words almost seemed to snap Elsa out of her reverie. Her hand lowered, and she looked up, seeing that the icy creations she'd envisioned in her mind now existed on the building, hanging there in intricate patterns. It made her flush, reaching a hand up to tuck back a strand of hair that had somehow fallen loose from the extremely tight braid that jerked her hair back.
"Of course you'd say that; you're my sister," grumbled Elsa. "It's... I keep having images like that, and it's sort of... freeing? To put them out there like this," she sighed, folding her arms and staring up at the newly decorated building.
"I suppose I really shouldn't though. It's just adding more work to whoever comes by next,' she started to raise her hand as if to erase them, but hesitated, her fingers slightly clenched, not quite willing to unleashed or release her own magics.

"It's good," Anna reassured her "I'd say that even if I wasn't your sister. And I think you should let those images out more often, it looks beautiful..." the way it glittered in the light, the way it enhanced the natural look of the building, as far as Anna was concerned every building should have beautiful ice decorations... if not for the obvious flaw.
"I don't think you're making more work," she suggested with a grin "I mean really, you're cleaning it.. eventually it's going to melt and it'll just wash all the brick." she looked pleased with herself.
Elsa rolled her eyes, giving her sister a sardonic look. "Well, yes, because you're nice." Though that didn't lessen the words, did it? Elsa kept looking at the ice, finding her already low desire to melt and undo what she'd wrought dissipate almost entirely. It didn't help that Anna didn't stop there, pointing out that Elsa would technically be cleaning things.
"That sounds like an excuse," Elsa said, but she was smiling fully now. Sighing, she looked over the building again. "This place is a school, isn't it? It'll be quite interesting to see how things turn out when it's all done," she'd cleared an initial path, and she'd wager she could do more. "I suppose if we're going to stay here, we're going to need to meet other people, figure out our places."
Elsa turned, looking across the overgrown school, seeing the possibilities and potential in the crumbling buildings. "We'll still need to find the portal," she looked back to Anna. "If for no other reason than a need to send missives home. I established a council, but it only takes one Duke Weasleton."

"That's what they say," Anna agreed, pleased with herself for bringing a smile to her sister's face, and for preventing the beautiful facade she had built from being destroyed. She hoped somebody else would see it and have a chance to enjoy it before it melted away. "I'm looking forward to meeting new people, and I think you should be too," she gave Elsa a gentle nudge. She'd felt cooped up throughout her childhood, but it was nothing compared to Elsa, she'd spent so long hiding away from everyone it was time she got out there and made some friends... or met someone special...
"I think I remember Milo saying there was a room in the school with portals," she said excitedly "Maybe it's still here, and then we can find a way to send messages home. Surely somebody will know something about it, a lot of people here have been here before I think..."
The nudge did not go unnoticed. Elsa gave her sister a slightly offended look, like a bird whose feathers had been ruffled. She even smoothed down a sleeve slightly, though she was mostly doing it for looks than anything else. After all, Anna was right: Elsa should meet people too. In many ways, Elsa was the one who had been more sheltered, though you'd never realize it by talking to the two sisters in turn. Anna had at least connected with the staff and seen visitors. Often Elsa would only come out for bits, almost treated like a show-animal.
She sighed at the memory, noting the slight curl of ice that left her breath. Was that new? She nearly frowned, only for the expression to almost immediately melt into something of a smile.
"Milo?" she repeated, quirking a brow. "Should Kristoff be worried? Or is this just another new friend?" Because it was definitely a name that Elsa hadn't heard before. She'd only been greeted by Kristoff upon arrival, and, well, part of her was almost jealous. Then again, it only made sense that the more outgoing sister would already meet new friends, didn't it?

"Oh, no!" Anna waved her hands in denial, a blush colouring her cheeks "He's old. I mean, he's a teacher, or, will be, or...was...wait no he was a student last time..." she shakes her head slightly, trying to organise her thoughts so she can explain things better.
"When I got here, I was in a park or something, away from the school, and he turned up there as well. He said he'd been here before, and we came to the school hoping to find other people. He was very nice, but he's a friend, just a friend." she wanted to protest that she didn't fall in love with every man she met but, well, while that wasn't actually the case, it sort of felt like it. Every man she'd met that was close to her own age, anyway.
For several beats, Elsa just let her sister dig her own hole. This, this felt normal, and more than a little entertaining. Fortunately Elsa had quite a lot of experience in keeping her expression blank while Anna stumbled her way through a conversation. The mention of this poor Milo being old nearly had her breaking into a laugh however.
"Oh, a friend then?" said Elsa. "So you didn't sing about sandwiches and dance with him then?" Elsa gave a nod of approval. "It's good to know that someone safe found you first," she looked around. "This place does feel welcoming, and magical, like it wants us to be here. But it may have drawn darker people to it as well..."
Or was that Elsa's own suspicions coming out again? She kept remembering Hans and all those years hiding and just... everything. "If we're going to stay here, we should probably check out the dormitories," she flicked a hand toward the plants, blasting most of the front with a quick burst of frost. It wouldn't instantly freeze, but it would dry out the plants, would kill them... slowly. She nodded, turning back to her sister. "And if you truly want, we can share a room..."
