Personality: Lorelei has almost no social skills. None. Zero. This is less because she doesn't try and more because she spent most of her life living away from people and around books. So she's much more likely to just say or do the wrong thing than anything else (and sort of just own every moment of it).
This doesn't mean she's not intelligent. Lorelei comes off as almost too intelligent, particularly about her favorite subjects. When it comes to medicine, magic (particularly healing), or the people of Tintagel, you'll hardly find someone more knowledgeable. In point of fact, she's an outright fangirl of much of Tintagel, particularly the 1st gen, and has this almost crazy amount of knowledge. Sort of like she's written fanfiction about how Arthur and Gaston are secret lovers in the nighttime while Merlin watches that may or may not have gotten discovered by her father and earned her a stern lecture while her mother tried very hard not to laugh her ass off.
But yeah, crazy spaz. Big goof. You know the kind who would actually think the lame stuff is rad? That's Lorelei.
Appearance: Lorelei's cute. When her mother and/or half-sisters manage to corner her and get her to actually dress nice, she looks like a pretty little princess. In fact, appearance wise, she takes after her mother a good deal (which is odd, as her father tried to do a lot more raising of her). She has the same thin build, the same beautiful features, and the same easy self-confidence.
However she dresses like she literally rolled in a pile of clothes and whatever stuck is what she's decided to wear for the day. She'll also occasionally forget to actually brush her hair. Or do makeup. Or really tend to her appearance much beyond brushing and flossing (that's important, yo).
History: So Lorelei was one of her mother's (many) kids, born later than the rest from Lancelot du Lac, possibly when he was Levain of Astolat, things are SUPER FUZZY there. What is known is that she was born in the Summer Country to Queen Guinevere and very much loved. Lance took to her almost immediately, and much of her raising was done by him. However, Lance doesn't know much about girls, or about smart people, so Lorelei ended up doing quite a bit of self-raising. Which is weird, since both her parents are still very hands on and loving.
Her childhood was filled with tales of adventure, and she was occasionally shipped off to, say, Camelot or the Enchanted Forest or Avalon or she might have run away there a time or two. Most of the public didn't really connect that the goofy nerdling that Lance apparently was raising was a princess most of the time. They just sort of noticed that hey, there was yet another kid around the table who looked a lot like her mom and was possibly a princess or something. Though Lorelei did manage to pick up a lot of knowledge about courtly life just sort of on the side (she'd make an excellent spy, really).
Eventually she got permission to head to Tintagel, where ALL THE FUN AND EXCITEMENT IS, OMIGOD. and now she's there and is probably just a little eager to get to the whole learning and getting to know people thing.
