Personality:She’s always searching for adventure and danger. She seems to lack in a healthy amount of fear and tends to be rather clumsy, a terrible combination to say the least. She’s been known to drop everything on a whim to go on some crazy expedition more than once. She likes to change things up constantly, staying in a schedule simply wont due. You could go as far to say she has a mild case of ADHD. Super hyperactive and far too easily distracted. Small things fascinate her and she can come off as even a bit ditzy at times. Andy is also quite horrible at thinking before she acts, it’s gotten her into a trouble more than once.
Her emotions are almost as unpredictable as her actions sometimes. Most of the time she bubbly and happy (and loud at that), but she tends to be very sarcastic at times and even very clever if she wants to be. Point is, if shes serious about something, shes serious. Although it doesn't happen all too often, but when it does, there’s no messing with her. Don't let her small size and bouncy way foul you, she competitive and can get pretty heavy into prank wars. She's been through a lot, but even depressed or angry she's rather spaztic.
She not really great at being quiet, she voices many of her thoughts out loud when she really shouldn't all too often. She got a lovely voice to sing, but most people get sick of hearing it. She doesn’t generally care who you are, just as long as she can drag you along with her to have fun and so she can probably talk you to death. She adores making people laugh and she doesn't really try to be obnoxious...it just happens sometimes....often.
Since the war, Andy has grown depressed and dimmed. Five years of “ordinary” life as a mermaid princess have left her sad and tired.
Appearance:Andrina is a very petite woman and rather small for her age. She only reaches about 5’1” and has a slight, small figure. Most mistake her for being about sixteen despite her real age of twenty. She has long, wavy, blond hair that reaches just past her shoulders and often frames her small round face, thought its naturally brunette. She has eyes of a pretty light blue and fair skin. She quite strong for her size, however, given all the rock climbing she's done. She likes to wear very bright clothing, but never much jewelry.
Since the war ,Andy had to adopt a different style. Her normal fashions don’t really work out under the sea. She prefers more comforting things now, cozy things since she couldn’t have them underwater. She lost most of her interest in bright clothing and style in general for now.
History:Andrina was born into a family of royal mermaids with a loving mother and father and six sisters, varying in age. Life was pretty good, she learned how to play an innumerable amount of interments and how to sing very well. Her mother would sing her and her sisters to sleep every night, so, naturally, Andrina was very happy. When she turned six, however, her mother was killed, leaving their father to care for seven daughters. It soon became apparent that he favored the youngest, Ariel for her exceptional voice and resemblance to their mother. Andrina worked tirelessly to earn her father's affections, but he hardly paid her any heed. Frustrated and impulsive she took up a few extreme sports. She instantly fell in love with the adrenaline rush and began participating in dangerous activities all the time. Thats right about the time she met the merman who tore her apart. He was impossibly handsome, and loved everything she did. They were meant for each other, or so she thought. He took her mind off her father's coldness because, at last, she felt loved. After years of dating they finally set a date to be married when Andy was only eighteen. She got all dressed up in white, only to be stood up. EFFING BRAD THE MERMAN never showed up to his wedding. So, naturally, she barges into his house in a rage...and finds him sleeping with another girl.
So Andy went...a little nuts. She swore to never love again, broke some things (mostly body parts while participating in dangerous activities), and cried a lot. Her reckless behavior got so horrifically bad that her father actually took notice and decided to, no not nurture her and console her, but send her away and hope a fresh start would really help her. Andy took the opportunity and was given legs and thrown onto the shores of Avalon. Its kind of a blur from there, but she might've met some people and things happened. Anyway, lots of drama, blah blah then MAGIC STORM and BOOM she ended up in Tintagel.
Since the war, Andy was sent back to live with her father and sister’s in Atlantica. For a few, frantic weeks, She tried to think of ways she might get back to Mumble, but it was pretty obvious to her that there was no real hope. She was a mermaid, after all, and she couldn’t leave her ocean, let alone find some magical way into Mumble’s world. She couldn’t even be sure that he was sent home, as she had been. Andy’s life became mundane and she considered it awful. She found comfort in her sisters, but she often resented her father and his favoritism of her youngest sister. She passed the time by learning more instruments and occasionally teaching merchildren. She was essencial a spare royal, she didn’t have much duty beyond showing up to events and looking pretty. She would eventually probably have marry for the realm, but she had sisters yet in front of her to get wed. It was all just….ordinary. Her life felt like a dull grey sweater. It wasn’t terribly uncomfortable, but it was heavy and plain. It weighed on her every day for five years. Her heart sank into a dark place. She lost interest in a lot of things, which her father mistook for growing up.

TELLtheTALE
Sample Post: Andy was floating nearer the surface than her father would have liked back in the day. He’d been scared of the surface, and yet he’d sent her away to fend for herself on it. Turns out it wasn’t so bad for a while. Sure there were a few tough times, some actual insanity, but there was also Andrew Mumble. She’d mentioned him to a few of her sisters, but never to her father. It was hard to talk about him. Everytime she tried to reminisce about a lovely time they had together, a flood of bad clouded it. They’d been through so much, and the good, along with the bad, turned her heart to lead.
This close to the surface, she could just faintly feel the warmth of the sun. She missed it desperately, but breaching the water seemed like too much of a reminder of what it felt like to walk on land with her love. Her eyes remained closed as her green and purple tail glimmered in the light. She’d all but forgotten what it was like to have legs, to feel someone’s hand on her knee. People danced in Atlantica, but it was very different from how humans did it on land. She avoided the few clubs she’d dug up from years before she’d ever seen the world beyond her home. She feared the music she might hear, so many song reminded her of what she’d lost. Everything was a reminder now-a-days.
She sigh deeply and tried to think of something else besides the ragged hole where her heart used to be. A glimmer of sunlight danced on her face and seemed to grow brighter for a moment, like it had come out from behind a few clouds. Yet, the brightness continued to intensify until it was blinding. She blinked open her eyes and shielded her face with a hand. She flicked her tail and moved closer to the source. It looked as though something was floating just above the water's edge. She looked around, but there was no one for miles. Below her she could just make out the faint glow of her castle. Andy didn’t do things without thinking anymore. She didn’t go on adventures and she didn’t investigate. Still, something inside her, a piece of her old self, urged her on. She swam closer, slowly. Carefully, she reached out a hand, a single finger extended. If she could just touch it, perhaps...Then, all at once, her whole body felt like it was being crushed and pulled apart at the same time. The only thing she could think as she spiraled onward was anywhere was better than here.
