Meredith bit her lip nervously, it was difficult to keep her cool when things were definitely heating up. She had never thought when she waited outside Mordred's classroom that it would end up like this, she had no idea what to do.
When his hand slid up her thigh and he started with his insinuations, she got nervous, uncertain, drawing away from him just a little, the kissing was one thing but that was something she wasn't sure she was ready for - but all of that went out of her mind immediately when she suggested they go watch star wars, and she grinned delightedly.
"Okay! Let's go, you'll love it, I promise" she beamed, grabbing his hand and standing up

He wasn't sure she'd take him up on his suggestion, wasn't sure she'd be comfortable being alone with him given how heated things were getting, so he was pleased when she got excited and stood up. He was even more pleased when she took his hand, and he stood up and followed her out of the door.
Sure, he had other ideas than simply watching Star Wars. No, he definitely didn't want to watch Star Wars. But he knew that she wouldn't pass up on the chance to a) watch her favourite films, or b) finally be the one to convert Mordred to the dark side. But if he had his way, they wouldn't get very far.
"You promise? I'll hold you to that - there's consequences for broken promises, you know." He said flirtatiously as they left the coffee shop and began to make their way back to Mordred's house.

"I promise," she repeated, glancing back at him. Her gaze strayed to their linked hands and she couldn't help but smile "I'm so sure, I'll even agree to your consequences if you don't."
There were probably rules about not going back to a boy's house after you've only gone for coffee with him, but this was Mordred, she'd known him practically all her life, she could trust him, right? Not to mention, she didn't want this afternoon to end...
