Name: Nancy Catherine Panic
Age: 16
Parents: Della Miller and Trent Panic
Personality: On the one hand, Panic was still Panic, so Nancy became very well aware of how danger can lurk around every corner, and the fact was that she could die, unlike her father, so she had legitimate reasons to be concerned. Still, she's more shy than, well...panicky. Meanwhile, Della made a surprisingly good mother to top it off, and Nancy always kind of hero worshipped her, although she felt closer to her father. She wished she could be brave like her mother (something she and her father always shared)...and perhaps, deep down, she is. She's actually got so many thoughts in her head she wants to let out, but she's afraid of the consequences. So much that it's sort of left her socially crippled...but she would like to sort of...blossom into someone brave.
Appearance: Outwardly, at least, she got some of her parents best features, probably. She has her mother's innocent looking face with her father's blonde hair, blue eyes and slim build. Mind you, that could change in an instant if she so chose. She's doing her best to hold back on her shapeshifting since it feels like such a dangerous ability, but sometimes she just slips...
History: Honestly, it's a miracle that this kid even came to be, considering the difficulties there were in even her parents getting a first kiss in. But even more shocking is that two rather insecure and somewhat unstable people managed to bring up a very loving household for the little girl that scared the daylights out of them when it was clear she was coming. Della, who never had a mother, wasn't at all sure what she was doing, but she basically made a mini best friend out of her daughter, not to mention was able to tell very awesome stories to her, while Panic actually gave her the hugs that he never got as a child. She was a bit spoiled, not by a constant showering of gifts, but by just how much her parents loved her.
This made school just a tad bit difficult for her, seeing as she wasn't quite sure of how to deal with people outside of her little family. Besides, even at an early age, she got that she was different from other kids. She was, for all intents and purposes, half demon (although an incident when she was about thirteen made it very clear that the D word was not to be used in the Panic household), and could easily shapeshift into something that could kill. Talk about a lot of pressure for a little kid who wasn't meant to serve the Underworld. So she wound up being kind of shy around people, spending most of her time reading, very much like what her mother did when she was growing up, although she had a little bit more. Not by much, but at least she didn't need a job as soon as was legal.
Now it seems that destiny (certainly not her mother's first instinct) has brought her to Tintagel...basically, Nancy feels like she needs to go there. She's not sure why, and it was very difficult to persuade her parents...but here she is...
