Name: Gwyn Locksley
Age: 16
Parents: Robin Hood and Lady Marian
Personality: Gwyn is not the friendliest of people, to put it lightly. She is very determined and focused on her future, and views relationships as needless distractions that only take her time away from training.
Physically she is very skilled at pretty much everything: close combat, archery, swordsmanship, etc, but socially she is awkward and stunted. She is blunt, logical to a fault, and can be very abrasive. She also speaks her mind, so if someone does something she thinks is stupid, she doesn't hesitate to tell them so. Unfortunately this happens quite often.
She's not completely bad, though. What few people she does care about she is fiercely protective of, and no one more so than her brother, Eddie. She can tease and insult him all she wants, but if anyone else tries they'll be sorry.
Appearance:
Gwyn isn't very tall, but what she lacks in height she makes up for in strength. She is curvy and muscular, with a decent tan from all the time she spends outside. She keeps her dark brown hair cut short, both for practicality and in an act of rebellion against the image expected of her back home.
She hates dresses and is usually found in shirts and trousers, with either boots or trainers, which she has discovered to be both practical and very comfortable, though she is confused by the fad of very bright colours. She owns non make-up, finding it too time consuming and serving no purpose.
History:
Gwyn was born the second child to Robin and Marian of Locksley, or at least that's what she believed growing up, and while all their hopes were pinned upon their only son, not much was expected of her being a female in their time. She proved them all wrong. Taking after her father in almost every way, she was naturally gifted with a bow, a sword, a horse, hand-to-hand combat... you name it, she excelled in it. Basically wherever her brother failed, she succeeded which, let’s face it, was everywhere.
Although she enjoyed her trips to Camelot, she didn’t make friends as easy as her brother and usually just ended up tagging along with him and his friends, though if she realised this she never let it show. The best parts of those trips, though, were the tournaments. She loved to watch the Knights jousting and fighting and aspired to enter one day. Then there was Mordred, who could fight with the best of them. She just knew he would make a great knight one day.
From a young age, while her father nurtured her natural talents, her mother made sure she learned all the necessary etiquette for a young woman of her time. Now, as she gets older, she fears that one day soon she will be expected to take a husband and uses the leverage of Marian’s late marriage whenever the topic is broached. Tintagel offers hope, though, because surely she could not be expected to marry while attending school, right?
It seemed a solid plan, and as it turned out she loved being there. Tintagel gave her freedom to be herself. She could dress as she wanted, act as she wanted, and do all the activities that a woman of her station (and women in general) were simply not allowed to do. It gave her all the opportunity to be become exactly what she knew she was destined to be, and she was enjoying her time there until that fateful message that she return home immediately.
Apparently Eddie was not her only nor oldest brother. Arriving home she found there was another, Richard, and he was everything any parents would desire their heir to be. He was intelligent, strong, and highly skilled in combat.
Gwyn immediately hated him.
For a few weeks they tried to play big happy family and deal with this new invader until she had had enough. Appealing to her parents with the importance of her studies and the disruption her time away was causing, they allowed her and Eddie to return to Tintagel... only they also sent Richard with them.
Needless to say, she was not pleased.
