Personality: Anna is perky, friendly, and a little bit naive. She's spent most of her life cooped up in a big castle with very little company, so her naturally friendly nature is only exacerbated by her excitement at finally getting to meet new people - lots of new people! She trusts easily, more likely to think the best of someone than to be automatically suspicious - although she generally reads a book by its cover so she's more likely to be mistrustful of somebody who looks suspicious.
She throws herself into just about everything with equal amounts of enthusiasm, she loves new experiences so much that she doesn't stop to think about the consequences before leaping in headfirst.
She's also a romantic, a little dramatically so, she believes in true love and love at first sight and all that typical fairytale mush.
Appearance: Anna is slim and small and delicate looking, but appearances can be deceiving, she's a lot tougher than she looks. She's not as striking as her sister, but she's still eye-catching in her own way with her big blue eyes, adorable freckles across her nose and unusual streak of white in her hair.<p>
As a princess, she's fond of more feminine styles, preferring skirts and tops with floral decoration to more casual clothes - but she's well practiced at engaging in all sorts of active pursuits in anything from a woollen winter skirt and boots to a full ballgown with multiple underskirts, so she doesn't feel the need to explore the world of jeans and t-shirts.
History: Anna had a very happy early childhood, she got on well with her sister and they used to play every day. Unbeknownst to her, one of these play sessions almost ended in tragedy when Anna was hit by Elsa's magic, resulting in her being rushed to the trolls to save her life. After that, she didn't know about Elsa's magic anymore, and Elsa started to withdraw. Anna still retained her happy, playful personality, and she tried to draw Elsa out of her self-imposed exile again and again, but it never seemed to work. Not understanding the change, Anna was left feeling confused and rejected.
When their parents died at sea in a terrible storm, Anna was left feeling even more isolated.
When Elsa's coronation came, Anna was delighted to finally get to meet people, for the doors to be open even for just one day - of course it all ended terribly, with Elsa starting an eternal winter, Anna's heart getting frozen, and her hopes of true love being heartlessly dashed in front of her face. Unfortunately, it didn't really do anything to temper her relentless optimism since it all turned out okay in the end, she had a fledgling new relationship with Kristoff and her bond with her sister was left even stronger than before.
Her happy ending was shortlived with the return of the portals, however. There hadn't been one in Arendelle before, and its appearance had caused some concern, unfortunately when Anna went to investigate it she was pulled in and ended up in Tintagel, a strange and unfamiliar place.

TELLtheTALE
Sample Post: "Okay, let's see what this thing is," Anna slid down from her horse and approached the swirling glow that had appeared in the mountains. It was one of the trolls who had mentioned it, advising that it was definitely something magical, and Elsa had decided that somebody ought to investigate it to make sure it wasn't dangerous - Anna had obviously volunteered.
Admittedly, her volunteering had been shot down and it had been decided that some soldiers would go in the morning, but that left a whole night for Anna to make a rope out of blankets, climb out of her bedroom window, 'borrow' a horse from the stables and ride up here to take a look at the portal herself.
Really, it was a wonder nobody saw this coming.
She moved slowly, watching the portal cautiously as she edged closer, fingers outstretched almost unconsciously, curiosity driving her forward. Her fingers were bathed in the portal's light, and they were beginning to tingle slightly. She moved to draw her hand away again but it was too late, the light brightened until it seemed like it was all around her, and then suddenly faded away again, and she wasn't in the mountains anymore.
"...uh....this...isn't good..." she murmured to herself, looking around at the crumbling buildings around her. Wherever she was, she was nowhere near Arendelle.
