Name:
Richard Locksley
Age:
19
Parents:
Robin and Marian
Personality:
Richard is, well, a d i c k. Thanks to his upbringing he's grown cold, resentful and just a little bit cruel. He's sarcastic and bitter and far more likely to be cutting than even remotely pleasant to anybody. He will flirt with girls and show some niceness to his close friends, but those people are few and far between. In general he keeps everybody at arm's length and it's popular opinion that he doesn't actually have any feelings.
Deep down he's actually very caring and romantic, but he refuses to let anybody see that side of himself. He has a secret collection of poetry that he would almost certainly kill anybody for finding.
Appearance:
Richard is blessed with a very good gene pool to choose from. He has good hair and great bone structure and when he grows a bit of scruff it comes in looking rugged and manly. Unfortunately, he knows he's very good looking. It comes along with an often arrogant expression and a cold, aloof demeanour - most of the time. He can spare a dashing smile and a wink for a pretty girl if he's in the right mood.
He dresses simply, there's a sort of style to it but it's more about practicality than look, he's not really the type to care too much about fashion when there's more important things to worry about.
History: Richard didn't get much of a chance to bond with his parents, not long after they returned to their blissful wedded life in Nottingham he was stolen away by the sheriff, raised in secrecy and far away from them and brought up to hate Robin Hood and everything he stood for.
And then he found out that Robin Hood was actually his father. That he had siblings. Things were... difficult, to say the least. He returned to his 'real' family, but relations were strained. It was difficult to reconcile the propaganda he'd grown up with and the people who called themselves his parents. Difficult to live with them knowing that their little family had been together almost his whole life and they'd never found him before now, that they had a whole lifetime's worth of memories together that didn't include him.
Eddie was resentful of him for being the real first born, Gwyn was resentful of him for being just as good as her, and both his parents walked on eggshells around him.
Tintagel was honestly a relief, while his upbringing left him wary of new people and still a bitter, spiteful person, at least he was out from that cloying, awkward household.
