Personality: Bast is quite nurturing. She feels protective of all children, especially those without parents. She can "adopt" a child and listen to them for the most part. She has the ability to be quit ferocious and has a bit of a temper, but rarely with children. She finds them rather funny when they try to be annoying. She can be rather obedient to her superiors. Of course, the only superiors she'll have are egyptian gods.
Resting and battling are her two favorite things. Her favorite weapons happen to be daggers. She also enjoys playing around, especially with kids. She loves to chase them around. She really is a kid at heart, even if she has a motherly spirit. She often ignores adults. They aren't as fun as children. When she does pay attention to them, it's usually because they're provoking a fight or acting like a child. Finally, Bast is a night person. She never rises before the sun and rarely shortly after it rises, unless she has to.
Appearance: Bast has medium length brown hair and green eyes. She appears to be in her twenties. She is slightly more muscular than most women. Her skin isn't particularly pale. She has a random assortment of clothes and never really prefers anything. She's so tired in the morning that she'll wear the first thing she grabs.
History: Bast was Ra's protector. She kept the darkness at bay when he went through the underworld each night. The job began to get boring after a while. The things she fought off were the same every night. She began to want more out of her life.
She left Egypt to try new things. She explored Africa, Asia, and Europe. She did everything, and it all began to be boring. She yearned to go across to America, but cas don't like water. Bast was unwilling to go because she was scared that her ship might sink. That would mean she'd get wet.
As safer ships came into being, Bast started to feel braver. She finally decided to take the trip. America was everything she had hoped it would be and more. She enjoyed her life there for a while, but soon that became tedious too. Eventually, she returned to Egypt and her old job. Except she didn't even get to work her first day back. She fell through a portal before she even got to do what she was supposed to.
Other: Dreams do come true... sometimes.
TELLtheTALE
Sample Post: Bast sat up. She had a killer headache. She took a quick look around. She had been asleep next to a beautiful lake. There were trees surrounding it. Lilypads floated around on the lake's surface.
Bast heard a rustling. She pulled out her knives. "Is anybody there?" she called. A bunny hopped out of a nearby bush. Bast started laughing. It was hard to believe that a little bunny had scared her like that. At least that meant that she had her gaurd up. She had no idea what this new land might throw at her. It had a different feel than any other place she had every been. Good thing it wasn't sinister feeling, but this new land could easily be fooling her.
