He is also highly trained in martial arts and will undoubtedly protect you from any drunken dates of other less fortunate attendees of the dance. I will provide you with the funds necessary to acquire an appropriate dress for the evening, up to the sum of one thousand pounds sterling, if you will accompany my ward to the dance. This is a one-night engagement, but if you should happen to desire to further your relationship, you are welcome to do so.
