Personality:
Other than being ruthless, vengeful, absolutely vicious, and evil? Well, there is always more to Morgana than meets the initial eye. She appears to be innocent, as most always do, but then she bites like a viper and kills bloodily. If she is ever double-crossed, she will most definitely take revenge on that in the worst ways possible. Perhaps she cares about the people, but to a certain extent, because you’ll soon find that most of everything she does is for herself, or for an occasional someone whom she loves (Morgause, only, really). In public, she will kiss Arthur’s hand, and smile, act like nothing is the matter, never disloyal to him, but when nobody is looking, she will curse the day he was born, playing the game that she always has been. Being one of many people who does not agree with many of Uther’s decisions, she is one of the very few who would stand up to him, despite any consequences, taking advantage of the fact that she knows he loves her too much to do anything drastic. She has the light of Joan of Arc, and the darkness and ambition of Lady MacBeth.
She will not necessarily hate anyone off the bat, unless she is betrayed her trust. All she wants is Arthur’s throne, and by any means necessary will attain it. In truth, Morgana isn’t corrupted by evil, nor has she allowed it to get that far yet. She sees herself as a warrior, and will not be challenged. She is often described as a temptress, for she’s been known to get heads to turn whenever she walks by, and perhaps even acts upon it all. Manipulating is her specialty and will use it as often as possible to get her way. She can be sadistic, sociopathic, as she shows no emotion towards torturing and killing someone, and has proven to be cold-hearted. For some, she is a saint, an angel, the beautiful ward of Uther. Kind-hearted, generous, forever smiling. But no one really truly knows her heart. Not yet, at least.
Her abilities pertaining to ever-growing magic (and in general) include: occasional shapeshifting (three personas, currently), a form of telepathy (of course, can only connect with those who are telepathic as well), minor telekinesis (which she hardly ever uses), a force derived from the core of her magic, much like Morgause's, where she could blast people backwards without saying a word, and she is a skilled and highly adept swordswoman (has bragged a couple of times about defeating even Arthur before). Morgana also is a good actress, seeing as how she is currently very skillfully juggling two personalities for the sake of bringing down Camelot.
Appearance:
Morgana’s pride is her graceful and slender form that stands at about 5’7’’. But not only that. Her beauty goes out also to her long dark hair, porcelain skin, and bluish-green eyes that pierce through anything and anyone. She’s got this majestic air about her, arrogant as it is, but her posture heavily implies it.
Most of what Morgana wears in Camelot are dresses which reflect her royalty, colors of royal blue, deep emeralds, blood reds, and velvet purples. She’d like for it, a crown to rest upon her head, but unfortunately, all she has are her forehead pendants and her jewelry. At school, Morgana likes to dress both comfortably and fashionably. If possible (which it is, with her) she’ll wear strapping heels with skinny jeans, an off-the-shoulder top, and a fedora. She’ll mix and match just about anything, but everything matches, and everything looks absolutely stunning on her.
History:
Morgana’s history starts like anyone else’s. She was born in Camelot, raised there too, but early on, she lost her father. After her father died and right before she came to live at the castle, Morgana had been sent to a convent to study for a few years. Oh, she studied all right. Plenty of black magic and sorcery. She was selected by the head nun to be trained, for she had a gift and had potential. That all faded, of course, and Morgana was convinced that all she had seen and done was a dream, but there was always a part of her that told her otherwise.
She and her twin brother, Kay had been living under the wing of King Uther, who had taken them both in. While Kay began training to become a knight (and an idiot, but he didn’t need to practice too much for that), Morgana was training to be a lady in the Castle Pendragon, and quickly enough, achieved that rank. She grew up with many of the royal kingdom who lived in the castle, one of which was the arrogant boy named Arthur. There were two things she enjoyed doing with Arthur, however, and those were practicing swordfighting, and arguing. The arguments with him tended to become quite amusing, and although she’d learned her better qualities from being a lady in the courts, the one thing Arthur shared with her was arrogance. Of course, she cared about him, even developed a crush on his at some point, saved his life a couple of times too, but forever remained jealous of his royal blood.
One frightening day, a little boy came into Morgana’s life, and even if it was short lived, she formed a strong bond with him and came to love him. Hiding Mordred was risky, but Morgana found no guilt in the boy who apparently had magic choose him rather than he choose magic. It was the first time Morgana had ever truly considered that perhaps those who were good and had magic weren’t choosers of it, but had a destiny to fulfill. She would never forget Mordred.
When Morgana was not yet twenty and one, she discovered (or more, remembered) the one thing about her that she had been hoping would not happen to her. It started off with dreams where she could practically predict the bad things that were soon to happen (which got worse the older she got). Perhaps it was a gift, so then she would be able to help things move along, but she ignored them often. She had always pleaded with Uther to give magic another chance, see the good that it could do, but Uther was determined to kill everyone who practiced magic and sorcery.
Her gift quickly began developing, without the help of anyone, as she grew in knowledge. She hid it the best she could from Kay, Gaius, Arthur and from Merlin, but Morgana didn’t want to hide it. She wanted to use it. She had magic, whether she liked it or not, and had been taught well and trained for a few years. Merlin had been the one to help her out for a bit, tap into that magic of hers, so that she wouldn’t be so foreign to it. Little did he know that she did know plenty of magic, but had not known how to return to it.
She knew a few spells, could mix a few potions, and could occasionally shapeshift into other forms. Only two, that she had mastered (a young Morgana and the lovely, now very dead, Lady, or Queen Igraine), and was working on a third, a face she only imagined and had not met. But the process was extremely painful, for every part of her body would need to realign into the different person, and Morgana preferred not to shapeshift into anyone unless it was absolutely necessary, for it was always a limited shapeshift. Her magic grew, as did the little knowledge she used to have of it, and so a hunger for darkness and power was slowly spreading through her. Soon after Morgana saw what she was able to do, her sister, Morgause, a high priestess, about five years to her senior, contacted her, with whom she studied for a bit more. Her magic is often controlled by her emotions. She can obviously control who to blast backwards if she wants, but if she is in deep agony or if frightened, she can not help the outcome.
Recently, the only thought Morgana couldn’t get out of her head was to be Queen of Camelot, by whatever means necessary, and Morgause encourages her. As loyal as she is to Morgause, Morgana cares about her sister very much and would protect her by any means necessary, despite the fact that Morgause has unbelievably strong magic. She hates Uther for hating magic, and believes that she could change things by becoming Queen. Being persecuted for who she is just didn’t seem right. She’s considered killing Uther a couple of times, but decided against it. However, killing the prince would be easy. She could make it look like an accident, very simply. Of course, it would take a lot more planning than that. And because she loves Kay too much to have him killed, Morgana would offer him the chance to rule with her, brother and sister, when the time was right. With Agravaine as her extra inside man who just so happens to be in love with her and would do anything for her, everything is in place. Unfortunately, before Morgana could get anything started, Uther had decided to send her and Kay off to some university far away. Arthur had been sent there before them, but they quickly followed. Morgana insisted on bringing along her precious white stallion named Angel (a gift from her sister), who forever has remained faithful to her.
The third face Morgana had tried to master her shapeshift was the most painful, because the face was a figment of her imagination, but she believes it is worth the pain. Morgan, as the third face would go by is similar to Morgana, bright blue eyes, pale skin, dark hair. Still, the features are different, and would go unrecognized as Morgan being Morgana. She decided that at school, the unknown face would be useful. At school, when she needed to do dirty work, like, kill Arthur in the middle of the night, she will limitedly shift into Morgan. Sweet innocent Morgana will then be concerned in the morning. Morgana’s plans on being the next in line to rule were to be put on hold. Because when she returned to Camelot, she would return with a lot more class, knowledge, and a lot of people who would be willing to follow and support her and the only other person she truly loves (aside from her unconcerned brother), Morgause. She would make a new Camelot. One where a stupid Pendragon didn’t have to sit on the throne and pretend to care about his duties, but one where Morgana Le Fey would have that crown placed upon her head, and she would rule in the way she’s always wanted – with power and with glory.
Other: Although I am not the amazing Charly, I am honored to take her seat as Morgana until further notice. I will do my best to please Oh, and…dreams do come true.
TELLtheTALE
Sample Post:
“Now, students, I assume you are all well-accustomed to using your brains. But how often do you really use your minds?” Morgana posed the question as if it had just been discovered that minds were to be used. “The mind is a very devious tool in each of your precious little toolbox. Without it, one simply cannot make decisions, understand right from wrong, or even plan something…incredibly extraordinary. The mind is very special. I suggest you all take care of it, or soon, it will begin to take over you.”
Walking around casually around the room, Morgana couldn’t help but smirk a couple of times. Nobody could possibly figure out what she was up to, what she was doing, why she was really teaching this particular class. She wasn’t a teacher, no sir, but when it came to instructing, Morgana was better than good. She was almost deliciously devious about it. Kay could teach Sex Ed all he wanted, but the only thing he would be gaining from it was pleasure. Morgana, on the other hand, could care less about pleasure. Unless, of course, pleasure that came from revenge and from pure unadulterated evil. Then, she was all up for it. In fact, she would be the first to sign up on that list.
“Psychology is a subject of beauty, of lust. Psychology is like a temptress. It’s sinful, adorning, and will most likely bring you down. Fighting it will do you no good. Psychology allows one to choose between what is good and what is heartless, cruel,” Morgana said as her eyes leveled from the book of the course she was teaching, to the students. She was going to know each of them one by one. Personally. And it certainly wouldn’t be the last thing she did. “This year, dear students, you will learn far more beyond the world of Psychology. You will know what it means to serve a ruler, one who always thinks of the good of the people.” Arthur’s throne was going to her hers. She would make sure of it.
