Name:Malum, just Malum, or Mal perhaps
Age: 16
Parents: Adoptive mother, Egeria Echo
Personality: Malum is not easily labeled to say the very least. Lets start out by saying he is very friendly. We will talk for hours to anyone about anything and often in a loud, excited tone. He is a bit ADHD, easily distracted and constantly moving onto new thoughts when he's especially excited. He wants to know everything about everything! He feels he has so much to learn and so little time to do it! He wants to make a difference in this world, change at least one persons life for the better. He is desperate to live life to the fullest and is particularly curious about affection, given that his dear mother herself was a bit too ignorant on the point and struggled to give him all that he required.
On the other hand, however, he carries a lot of the same trait as his mother, clearly marking the fact that he was raised by none other than Egeria Echo. He can riddle and rhyme. Get him into a thinking mood and he'll calm down a tad, though he'll still be clearly excitable. He'll drift off into dreamlike trances in this moments often and not realize what he's saying aloud. He'll pry more in these states, though back off if he thinks it might cause trouble. During these times you'll catch him scribbling in his massive journal that he carries around almost everywhere. It full of sketches, poems, notes, pressed leafs and other items from nature, scraps of paper, strings, knick knacks, you name it, its probably in there somewhere. Egeria gave it to him when he was born and he's been writing in it everyday since the day he could hold a pencil.
Appearance:
Malum is a very attractive boy, though he doesn't bother to notice really. He's never considered assessing himself in any way shape or form, he looks like what he looks like and he's never felt the need to compare himself to some standard. With that being so, still he dresses himself nice in well fitting jeans and semi stylish shirts, just whatever catches his eye. He's got pretty, big, blue eyes and dark hair that often a bit untidy. He's average height with a nice build and a terribly contagious smile.
History: Malum was doomed to a terrible fait should Egeria not have decided to adopt him, weather she'd done it simple for the sake of science and learning or not, she saved his life. You see, he was an accident of a young girl still in high school. She was not fit to care for the child and panicked once he was born and basically abandoned him to die. Lucky for him (or i guess that depends of your perspective), Egeria discovered him on the outskirts of the town, where she had been exploring human rituals and the such. She wanted to raise a child. to better understand human nature and, truthfully she had really learned enough about emotion to love the child. Still, she had a hard time showing her affection come later years.
Above all things, Egeria is clever, and making sure her child was healthy was an easy task really. She raised him int the woods, surrounded by nature just as she grew up teaching him so many wonderful things and he just ate it up. she gave him his book and he could read and write by the time he was three years old. she let him wander where he pleased, though always kept an eye on him. She let him venture into the town and explore a human world from where he came. He learned human ways a lot faster than Egeria ever could, being that he was, truly, a human and carried such emotions from birth that Egeria had to slowly learn at a later day. malum made friends, though they found him peculiar and never understood why he didn't go to school with them or why they could never find his home in the woods. Once someone hugged him and he was so thrilled and taken with the experience that he promptly ran home and taught a momentarily stunned Egeria how to hug.
Even through Egeria's best efforts, her son remains dreadfully clumsy to this day, his mind working too fast for his feet to keep up. He very clearly has some kind of mental disorder which allows him to retain mass amount of information, he's nearly got perfect recall and a few other quirks marking him as a genius. With the guide of his mother he may be one of the most brilliant minds to be sent to Tintagel, and all he really wants is a hug!
