Personality: Fred is outgoing and loves to talk to people. She’s a bit clumsy and loud though, and much to some people’s displeasure, not very lady like at all. She’s not very good with tests, but she loves to have fun. She’s very social and she loves to dance, especially the Spanish Panic, it’s her favorite. She’s quirky at times, confusing the other people around her, although it doesn’t bother her. She doesn’t usually care about what other people think of her.
While she may not care about what others think of her she does like to tell people she’s very bold, when in all actuality she’s shy. She’s worried if people know that she’s timid and not bold at all then they won’t want to get to know her. Her mother liked to tell her that a shy princess wouldn’t get very far in life and she ended up taking that advice to heart and putting on a front.
Her mother her and herself have a strained relationship at best. Her mother is pushy and demanding of how she act while she is carefree and simply wants to have fun and enjoy life. This is why she was so grateful when Sir Harry came to her land, looking for a princess to marry Prince Dauntless. She saw it as an adventure and went after it, hoping to find happiness that she was unable to find in the Marshland.
Appearance: Winnifred is actually very pretty, despite what she tends to believe. She’s got some curve to her, and she has thick blonde hair that unless she can tame with the marshwater or any kind of water really poofs all over the place. She’s tall, about five seven really, give or take. She’s always got a smile on her face .
History: Winnifred was born in the marshland of the kingdom that her true love Dauntless is from, but we’ll get to that later. She was brought to the land away from the marshland by Sir Harry, as the 13th princess to try for Prince Dauntless’ hand.
She swam the moat when she got there, to the shock of everyone there, and she saw a smile on the prince’s face. She was surprised that that charmed Dauntless, although his mother wasn’t charmed at all(and she was quite positive her own mother would be mortified but she wasn’t terribly concerned about that fact and actually was pleased at the thought) and didn’t believe she was a princess at all, until Sir Harry showed the Queen her papers. The Queen devised a test for her, that would see if she was worthy of Dauntless, although she was already quite head over heels for him. They studied together to prepare her, including strength and history.
The Queen threw a party for her, and she and Dauntless danced the Spanish Panic, which she loves anyway, and she was the last one standing. The Queen led her to her room and to a bed containing 20 mattresses. She tried to sleep on the mattress and sleep never came, it was so lumpy and uncomfortable. When she came in front of the queen the next morning she told her this, and was not believed.
Finally, Dauntless told his mother to be quiet, thus breaking the curse on his father (who had been placed under a spell making him mute until now, when the mouse ate the hawk) and muting his mother. She later found out that the others had filled her bed with jousting equipment. The next night, before the wedding, she went to go get her sleepwear, and there was a green light in her closet, she went to look and it sucked her in, right into Tintagel.
Other: Dreams do come true!
