Door was sort of having a hard moment.
She had been trying to figure out what sort of spell could have been placed on Caz to make him revert in age but had decided against involved the Professor or Caz at this time. Caz had enough to deal with without pouring through mountains of text and the Professor seemed to be a bit deep in it, as well. So most of her time was spent trying to get answers to a question that she barely understood.
She was also feeling seriously underpowered after her first magic class. She had always felt that her power needed some more control and focus but she never thought that she was just plain old unpowerful compared to so many people. She had never felt so lacking in that way in her entire life.
Then there was just the normal teenage girl problems. She liked a boy who was in no position to have feelings for her at the moment (and that was sort of the best case scenario). She had a job so she could safe up for a Prom dress which no one would even care about if she didn't get a date. And then she had to feel stupid that she felt the only reason to go to prom was if she had a date.
And, to top it all off, there seemed to be a tree growing half way out of their wall.
Needless to say, Door did what she always did when she was overwhelmed and retreated under her bed. Her covers hung low off the mattress, completely hiding what was underneath the frame. Door relished in the artificial darkness and in the safety for a moment, relaxing in a way she couldn't on the soft pillow top.
