No, Kay wasn’t about to get his hair cut all the way. He would never do that. Kay loved his hair, for it was so much fun to twirl it in his fingers in the presence of his ever-favorite homophobic men and he could toss it and walk away when he was in the presence of men who were actually gay or bi at the very least. No, he was here to get a trim. There was a big difference, he’d have you know.

He was sitting, waiting for his hairstylist to finish with her last client, (she was a middle-aged blonde woman whom he actually found really attractive and whom he had told he was gay and he upped his flamboyancy around her to please her…maybe one day, if she was drunk, it would all pay off) flipping through one of those gossip magazines and making comments to himself as he skimmed each story.

“Really? Pregnant? Took them along enough! Third divorce? Aww, waste of money – just make it an open relationship and be done with it. Ooohhh, a wedding! Please, someone invite an embarrassing relative who’ll get really drunk and start a fight.”

Andrina was having a bit of a hard time. It was like things kept escaping her mind or twisting around and reordering themselves until she had trouble deciding which ends were up. It was frustrating in the times when she realized something was wrong, that something was not right with her head, but all to often was her condition so severe that she simply went on with whatever life her fragile mind had decided was proper. It was a dangerous state to live in, even in those times when she was unaware that she had any issues at all, people she once knew are certain to get hurt if she wakes up one day without any idea who they are. Poor Mumble, poor anyone she meets, friend foe or anything in between. Getting hurt emotionally is one thing, but, as unstable as she is, who knows what might happen, especially in such a place with so many sharp objects.

The barber shop. Andy hadn't been there since she had her roots done about a mouth ago. She was overdue to get them done again, but with all the drama she's been going through, not to mention the fact that her mind was pretty much shot to hell curtesy of Redd, she hadn't been able to make it. She was feeling good today, if not slightly off kilter with the occasional blank look hijacking her face. She seemed to be weaving in and out of complete lucidness and some blissful unawareness all morning leading up to this point. She had managed to look semi decent before making her way to the shop, well worn jeans and an ill fitting, yet somehow chic top. She'd thrown on some boots to complete the ensemble, ending up with a sort of relaxed appearance, despite the electric look in her eye and occasional tick. It was not her usual wild outfit to say the least, in fact rather sad in comparison, but she looked well enough in it....as far as she cared anyway.

She flinched at the sound of the bell on the door as she shoved it open and stumbled inside, though a grin appeared on her face. She chuckled at her own clumsiness, a definite sign that the old Andy was not completely unreachable. Today was a good day, somewhere safely in between knowing she was crazy and remaining blissfully unaware. All seemed will except for the fact there was one tiny thing that may be a problem. Danger. Andy had always loved it. She is an adrenaline junky, but when your mind is screwed emotions and needs and impulses all seemed to get jumbled and shoot up at different times. Today, Andy was feeling extraordinarily wild. She was considering getting all her hair cut off, or have it dyed a million colors, but like all junkies, she knew it would not be enough. She needed a fix and what to her wondering eyes should appear, but a handsome and sufficiently wild looking boy.

It took her an awkward thirty seconds to realize she was staring at him eagerly and blinked just in time to hear a lady call her name happily and ask her to take a seat. Andy gave her a strange look, sure she'd never meet this woman before though she'd done her hair since she'd arrived at Tintagel. Still, Andy bobbed her head and basically bounced her way to the seat next to the man avidly reading a gossip magazine. She leaned in to read, paying his personal space no heed. Oh a wedding! she exclaimed excitedly, unaware that he had just commented on it moments ago. Such a pretty dress... she fawned before adding with a dangerously amused tone I hope she trips down the aisle.
