Andrina Triton wasn't exactly known for her stable mind to begin with. She reacted so terribly to things involving romance and love that someone could easily peg her as, at least, a little bit nuts. Thats not to even mention her passion for extreme sports and danger. She had this need for adrenaline that was only bested by distractions like, say things involving romance and love. Well, occasionally. Sometimes she reverted to adrenaline rushing as a sort of drug to make her forget about her pain. Luckily for the wellness of herself and whoever happened to be around her, her recent bout with Mumble had left her just depressed enough that she turned to drinking instead. Yes, in Andy's case that was probably a far safer alternative. So, it would seem, she's tactfully avoided serious injury for a while now. No confronting Redd brandishing a little knife for protection, no jumping of cliffs with a questionable parachute, no dumping gallons of soap all over the floors to create a makeshift ice rink...nope, she'd managed to keep herself reasonably safe, that is, until she wished away her pain and now whatever sanity she'd proven for herself hand been hurled out the door like last weeks garbage.
So, still mildly dizzy from her recent head injury and her....occurrence in the pool the other day, a wildly beaming ex mermaid came bounding into the weapons shop. It had been about a week and a half since she woke up feeling great and by now the enchantment had all but rid her of all sanity. She had a constant twitchy state about her that implied that she was either wired up on some drug or literally wired up and being shocked every two seconds. Her smile was unnatural, like someone ha painted something on her teeth that she was fiercely reluctant to taste. Her hands held a tremor to them that was visible every so often when she reached out to touch something in the store. She was in pain, so much pain. Not only had the wish dissolved all of her negative emotions, but, as a result, anytime her brain tried hard enough to experience one a wave of crippling agony overwhelmed her and often left her crumpled or with a new head injury as she convulsed. Andy didn't know what to do anymore, but she wasn't sad or worried, she couldn't be. There was only the deep, deep set idea that this was wrong, followed quickly by the knowledge that she didn't care.
Everything was so shiny and sharp and dangerous in here, her mind relished in the easy happiness it gave her. There was no conflicting emotions that left her aching more than she already was, being here made her happy. Thankfully, relief is a positive emotion and she could feel it coursing through her for the moment, though she made a point to not explore the why in the equation. Her hand closed around a particularly pretty and deadly looking blade. It was more like a short sword weather than a dagger of some kind. It was entirely silver with all sorts of intricate designs carved into its hilt. She wondered how much fun she could have learning how to use such a tool and her smile became a bit more genuine.
