If she were anyone else, Red would probably be at least slightly concerned about the possible ramifications of dragging her boss out to a bar to "loosen up a bit." Red's lax policies concerning rules and punctuality couldn't possibly work if enacted by the Headmistress, but one night could hardly change established routines and habits, now, could it?
Pushing the thought aside in favor of just having a good time - something Red did with alarming regularity - Red pushed open the door to the smokey bar and led Glinda in by the arm. The short sparkly red dress Red had pulled on reflected nearly as much light as the glitter the Good Witch had to be showering in to get it on like that.
"Two of whatever the most popular drink tonight is," Red declared to the bartender with a wink. She turned to Glinda, adding, "We alternate paying rounds until we can sucker some sap into buying them for us - forget that you're married to a hot rich guy, a free drink's a free drink." she waved a hand dismissively. "We can split cab fare back to the school if I don't go home with someone. We got a deal?"
Their drinks came then, and Red grabbed the stem of the glass and raised it with a flourish and a wide grin. "Here's to however much we remember in the morning!"
Normally, Glinda wouldn't be seen in a bar. But she definately neded a drink and the woman dragging her into the bar was the one person who could probably get her as drunk as she needed to be. Dressed in a sparkling pink dress that came down mid-thigh, she followed after the woman and allowed her to drag her toward the bar and the drinks that no doubtably awaited her.
Glinda nodded as she slid into a stool, crossing her legs and causing her dress to ride higher. Her hands rested on top of the counter, tapping her fingers against the wood. Her husband wasn't going to be pleased in the slightest, to be quite honest, but Glinda really needed something to do. Red and the drinks at the bar sounded like the best. If she happened to flirt with a hot guy on the way, sure. Why the hell not?
"Deal. You should know I have a tendency to be a stupid drunk" She warned and grabbed the glass that was slid toward her. She clinked it against Red's with a grin. "I don't plan on remembering anything!" She added with a giggle before swallowing a large gulp. She savored the slight burn.
"This is going to be fun. I haven't been drinking in ages!"
Red nodded, grin still in place. Privately she wondered if those statements could add together to mean the Headmistress was a lightweight with her alcohol. The thought caused Red to toss her head back and laugh.
She clanked her glass against Glinda's with an equal amount of flourish, then she tossed the whole drink back in nearly one gulp. It was some kind of overly sweet, fruity concoction that Red normally scorned at in favor of straight gin, but in the spirit of things she let it go. She had, after all, left it to the bartender to decide what to give them. No sense complaining.
Besides, in a few hours she'd forget what it was she was tasting anyway. Red giggled again as Glinda professed an equal desire to drink their memories into oblivion. Never mind that Red held her liquor better than the majority of people she met and would likely remember the majority of the night regardless of how much she drank.
"I'll be sure to at least keep you clothed," Red promised. "I wouldn't like that frightening husband of yours to come after me should he dislike something you manage to get yourself into. He can be a bit intimidating, you know." She waved a finger as if that was somehow Glinda's fault for marrying the guy. Red actually had no idea about the whole vampire thing.
The drink in her glass disappeared a moment after Red's did and she sat the empty crystal glass back down onto the bar with a half grin. Vaguely she wondered how long it would take her to get drunk. She was 96 lbs and 4'11, which meant it would take less alcohol than Red to get her drunk.
"That is an excellent reassurance." Glinda nodded when Red promised to keep her clothed. Perfect. The last thing she needed to do was strip. That wouldn't turn up well at all.
"I'd convince him it was my fault so he can't blame you." Glinda offered, but she had to admit Vlad was rather intimidating. "He's harmless as a teddy bear." She added. Sure, if a teddy bear had giant fangs and a lust for blood. Subconsiously, she curled thehand with the bite marks into a fist, digging her nails into her palm.
Red snorted loudly, raising a hand under her nose to make sure none of her drink came back up. "I meant it as a joke, but I take it the sort of thing has been an issue in the past? Tell me, do you often get drunk in bars and then start stripping?"
She winked, since she was still only teasing. She made no attempt to control the volume of her voice, either. If someone - preferably male, but Red wasn't here to judge - came over to them based on their conversation, then that was only something gained.
She raised an eyebrow on Glinda's assurance that Red needn't worry about Dracula coming after her. "'Teddy bear' isn't quite the comparison I would use. There's something deliciously predatory about that man, as I'm sure you know." Red laughed again, tilting her head to one side.
Glinda's cheeks flushed scarlet for a moment. "All I will say is that my photo is on several bar walls of fame." In other words, yes it had been a problem before. That, and the wet t-shirt contests. And body shot contests. Glinda was quite a reckless drunk.
But it was fun, so what the hell. Her body had gotten to the point where she didn't suffer massive hangovers - she usually remembered to magic herself in order to prevent those. Not always, though, and the splitting headache and nausea she woke up with her pay back times ten.
Her teeth flashed white in a delicious smile. "Quite the predator. I have the scars to prove it." She tilted her head to one side, allowing her curtain of blonde hair to spill off her neck to reveal the several bite mark scars she usually kept hidden along her neck. Of course, there were the scars on her arms, her hand, and other more intimate places on her body, but Red didn't need to see those.
