Of Locksley.
There were two of them now, pleasantly settled into a house, all snug and cozy. A cottage, really. Something that you expected a pair of happy newlyweds to live in. The paint looked relatively fresh, as though the couple were actually engaging in fixing things on their own. Somehow, Wil found she couldn't really care about that. She still ran her hands along the paint though, staring blankly at it. Paint. She was here to do that now, apparently. To build something now that everything had been torn down.
She explored most of the empty house. Oh, she'd made certain to arrive while the couple was out. Wil needed a few moments in the place to ground herself fully in this reality. Had they reached their happily ever after? It certainly seemed as though Robin and Marian were there. Allan had returned just as Wil was leaving; she'd heard about that. She didn't know what had happened to Much; didn't really care either. They'd never exactly gotten on.
Without anything else to do, Wil sat in a chair. More accurately, she perched on the edge, staring blankly into space. Her fingers twitched slightly, but other than that, there was no movement. Instead she looked blankly again toward the wall.
A happily ever after. Were they there now? It fit these two. They deserved it, being married to one another and such. Much deserved it. Even Allan.
But Wil? Wil had--
Sounds. Someone was home, possibly two someones. Wil didn't turn to look. It was most likely one of the residents. Woe betide anyone daring enough to try and break in. The body would be difficult to explain though...
