Dear Papa, Mama and Natalya,
I hope you are all well and that things are good back home. I arrived safely in Tintagel and I see now that everything that you told me about the place could never actually prepare me for my own experience there. This place is magical, the stuff of fairytales, it is beautiful. The castle that I am studying and staying in is like something out of one of the story books that you used to read to us, I have been exploring and I don’t think I have nearly seen every part of it, or ever will. The library itself was huge, I never knew there were so many books in existence and this place seems to have them all.
I met with Akrady soon after arriving and I am happy to report that he is looking very well. As far as I am aware the most trouble he has been in was a detention for passing notes in class, a very minor crime in the case of Arkady. Besides I met the girl he was passing notes with and she is very nice. I think Arkady is dating her, yes, you read right, dating. She really is genuinely nice and if he intends to continue it I couldn’t think of a better girl. He’s even got a job, I don’t think I’m supposed to know that but he does, he works in a shop, and considering he’s not been fired from it he must be pretty good at it. He’s made friends as well, or at least people are talking about him and not in a bad way. In a, they all quite want to get to know him kind of way. So that’s good, right?
