when i rule the world
I'LL PLANT FLOWERS!
I'LL PLANT FLOWERS!
personailty: Morgana is a two-faced hag. To put it bluntly. She appears regal, kind, and loving, but underneath it all, she is plotting the downfall of an entire kingdom. She is the master of acting the poor, hard-done-by damsel in distress, or the kind, loving, generous and sympathetic lady of the court, whilst behind closed doors she has no qualms when it comes to destroying anyone who gets in her way. But you'd only find that out if you were to cross her. Or to join her... Her recently discovered magical abilities make her a formidable enemy, but she is anxious to keep them hidden, as if Arthur was to discover them she could find herself in serious trouble, and all her plans coming to a very abrupt, and possibly rather violent end.
appearance: Morgana is tall, slim, and very beautiful. With long black hair, pale skin, and green eyes, she is undeniably beautiful, something she is aware of. She has a striking smile, which has made many a knight turn back as he passes for another look. In days past, her looks meant little to her, knowing that one day her guardian Uther would marry her off to someone who would be a great ally for the Kingdom, and her looks would fade with time. These days, however, she is becoming more aware of the fact that good looks can often help you get things you want, and she's not above taking advantage of this fact.
In Camelot, Morgana dresses in long, flattering dresses, made of the finest silks and fabrics, and the most beautiful colours - she particularly favours green, purple and red. She is often adorned in beautiful and expensive jewels, her hair either flowing down her back, or pinned up in elaborate styles, often decorated with jewels or flowers.
In Tintagel, it won't take her long to settle into a style of skinny jeans, or denim shorts and leggings, with either baggy, off-the-shoulder t-shirts, or strappy tops, with boots or heels. Morgana will slip easily into comfort over style, but is one of those people who manages to accesorise and style herself fashionably with relative ease.
history: Morgana lost her father at only nine years old, and since then has lived in the castle at Camelot, being raised by King Uther, who took her in as his ward. She grew up alongside Arthur, who became like a brother to her - pretty much a massive pain in the a***e. Since moving into the castle she has spent the majority of her time trying to deflate Arthur's enormous ego, more or less unsuccessfully.
She had always wondered slightly at Uther's readiness to take her in, having seen first hand how cruel he could be. She always put it down to his friendship with her father, assuming Uther felt he owed her father a debt, it having been his order that sent Gorlois to his death. However, shortly after Arthur left for Avalon, Morgana had met an enchantress, Morgause, who not only showed Morgana the natural magical powers she possessed, but revealed that she was Morgana's half sister, persecuted by Uther. Morgana had always had an odd relationship with Uther, she had always been against his cruel, no-tolerance treatment of magic and sorcery, but now, with the discovery of her own powers, the discovery of his treatment of her sister, and the fact that he had kept the knowledge of her sister hidden from her for so long, Morgana soon began to develop a deep hatred of her guardian.
On returning to Camelot after a secret visit to her sister, Morgana overheard something which changed her attitude forever. She heard Uther and Gaius discussing her, and Uther reveal to Gaius that he was her father. Morgana's reaction: Then she was heir to the throne of Camelot. Her only obstacle was Arthur. It was then she decided to destroy her brother, her father, and everyone else that stood in her way, and take the throne of Camelot for herself. She began making plans straight away, enchanting her father, and trying to destroy him. She had to rethink her plans fairly quickly though, as she noticed Gaius becoming suspicious of her. Convincing Uther to allow her to follow Arthur to school, she has come to Tintagel to continue her plans, focussing her destruction on Arthur, rather than his father.
In actual fact - most of Morgana's recent memory is a fabrication. She has been a student at Avalon for over a year now, in which time she fell in love and got engaged to Cazaril, and gave birth to his son, Mordred, much to the horror and fury of Uther. However, the couple seemed to drift apart after Mordred's birth, and Morgana found motherhood particularly hard after a spell to speed up her pregnancy backfired slightly, and he grew up at about three times the normal speed. Morgana felt like she was losing her sense of self, and so made a wish as she left Avalon to head back to Camelot for a while, a wish that she could be the person she was meant to be.
And now she is. Mordred has been sent to be raised by the Druids, Morgana had no memory of him, her relationship with Cazaril, or indeed any of her time at Avalon. Perhaps her memory will return... but which will return first? Her memory, or her son?
other: Morgana is way better than Merlin. At least she doesn't ride dragons in her spare time...
sample post: Once upon a time Morgana killed everyone with magical fire and became queen of the world. The end.
