Brianna has always been one who represented justice and order. If she saw something unfair being done, she did her best to fix that. Never being one to stick her nose where it didn't belong, Brianna ironically chose to become something who did just that. As a knight-in-training, Brianna was taught to be fierce, hard-headed, and stubborn, all of which came from within her own self, so those qualities were easy to gain. Because her family had never been well off, Brianna had to teach herself to be courageous and to fend for her own survival. Above all, Brianna fought for what was right. It was what persuaded her to disguise herself as a boy to become a knight in the first place - the wrong done to her family.
Appearance:
Brianna hadn't had long hair in years, since she was always cutting it short to look like a boy, but her dark hair often shone with a tint of dark magenta (when it was not dirty after hours of intense swordfighting and horseback riding, of course). Her eyes, however, wetr far more interesting, seeing as how they changed color with the seasons: a blue-ish gray for the colder months, and a hazel-green for the warmer. The one thing that always failed to complete her "developing boy" look was the stunt of her growth. She'd stopped at about 5'5'', which completely just makes her look like a weakling - but don't underestimate the weak-looking ones. Ever.
History:
The history of Brianna's life is simple, for she'd been a simple girl once. She'd grown up along the border of Camelot on a small fief. Now that piece of land was co-owned by her father, and her family lived happy and fair lives. That was, until Burton (the lord of the fief) decided that it was all right to cheat Brianna's family into losing everything, causing them to double over in misery and a difficult life. It was then, at ten years old, that Brianna swore she would avenge this incident and would not let it go unpunished. Knowing that although she was a little too old to enlist herself to become a knight, she didn't give up.
The moment she was free to leave her home, she took off by herself, Brianna traveled to Camelot. She cut her hair, dressed in boy's clothing, then enlisted as a page. She was the oldest page out there (she was nearly eleven), but Sir Thomas, the commander of the King's knights found Page Brian to be a determined and quite honorable fellow. Once she began getting older and going through puberty, she began binding her chest with tight linens and ignored the fact that she was starting to look more and more like a girl. Brianna was bumped up as Squire after a heroic act of bringing back the well-guarded bodies of a few Camelot knights by an enemy, the barbaric Rauskaug. She was merely sixteen at the time, and has been proud of herself ever since.
The following year had been an interesting one. A young magician (or sorcerer, perhaps) found his way into Camelot and had been the first discoverer of Brianna's secret. There had never been much time for being soft-hearted as a knight, but this one person, this Jack the magician had managed his way into Brianna's hardened heart. Unfortunately, there had not been too many moments they'd spent together, seeing as how Brianna was always training, and when there was a moment...poof. Jack had accidentally sent Brianna into another land - one which was greatly to Brianna's benefit, but she longed for a way back...back to Jack. And back to be knighted so she could do something about the treason and the cheating old Burton was doing.
