Set in the picturesque snowy hills is an ice-covered lake, or at least, it was ice covered..... somehow, one small corner of the lake isn't frozen. Nor is the land around it, in face it looks like there is a beach there, and a little grassy knoll with dandelions, chubby honey bees floating lazily through the blue skies.
From outside, the area just looks like it's suspiciously devoid of snow, but once you step over the boundary suddenly it's like the sky has cleared, the cold has dropped away and it feels like the height of summer, even the lake water is warm... as long as you don't swim past the boundary of the ice.
