NEWS UPDATE
As the war continues in Trenale the Tintagel Resistance have finally made a breakthrough! With the help of many of its members it has begun to push the Army of Wayron back, securing the docks area and moving ever forward. This lucky break came when a few of the similar groups within the Resistance each took on a section of the invading army, weakening their forces and defeating them easily.
When questioned about this, one of the leaders of the Resistance, Prince Arthur Pendragon, had this to say, “It was reckless, they acted on nothing that we had planned, they could have got themselves killed, they could have got others killed…but damn if I’m not happy they did it anyway.”
Sitting in his tent looking relieved at this new success Arthur continued, “With morale so low within the resistance at the moment this couldn’t have come at a better time. What those men and woman did was brave, no, it was something beyond brave, what ever it was it was amazing and we owe this turn in the tide to them.”
When it was suggested that perhaps it was the leadership of himself and his other captains the Prince shrugged and said, “I will fight at the front, I am not afraid to get my hands dirty, I fight for what I believe in, and of someone takes inspiration from that then that’s good. But I think it’s the people themselves that make this army, all of them, not just one man.”
Meanwhile back on the island the Grayle Corporation have been doing everything to help the islanders resume as normal, far away from the reaches of the war. Balinor, the reluctant mayor of the island, for want of a better title said to the Guardian, “Times are hard but we most prevail. We must put her trust in the young men and women that fight to protect us. But we shall carry on.”
Wise words for a difficult time.
