Due to everyone being in favor of OTMs returning, that's exactly what we're going to do! Yay! However, there will be some slight changes to how OTMs run.
The category will now be as follows:
Female Character
Male Character
Thread
Quote
Duo (could be platonic or romantic)
Characters, such as Chesh could be nominated for either the Male of Female categories. That will be left up to the nominator to decide.
Other important things to be aware of:
Nominations will be opened at the beginning of the month. Provided that there are at least 5 nominations for each category, the voting begin on the 20th of the month. However, if there are not 5 nominations for each category then the voting will roll over into the next month were voting will again take place on the 20th of the month.
Voting will be open until the last day of the month when the winners will be announced.
Character winners for Male and Female characters and Quote will be exempt from OTMs in the winning category for the next month as will all of the characters that the member plays. For example, if Giselle won Female Character Of The Month then all of my characters (Plum, Beowulf, Giselle, Hel and Alana) would exempt from winning Female Character for the next month.
The characters that win Duo Of The Month will be exempt as a duo from the next month's OTMs, but each character can be nominated as half of a different duo. For example, if Merlin and Arthur win Duo, then they can't be nominated as duo the next month, but Arthur and Kay could be nominated.
There are no exemptions for thread.
In each of the new OTM nomination thread the exemptions will be listed so no one forgets!
