I think they would definitely be an interesting duo, for sure. Whether or not they get along is actually a different story. Hel doesn't associate herself with good or evil and she's not really malevolent. She's held onto a lot of resentment, but she's not malevolent. But I'm totally up for a thread if you are!

Because, clearly, one and a halfish thread is not enough (referring to our Max x Remy thread and the Detention thread).

I'd love to do another thread between Astrid and Beowulf. Astrid's still struggling with the whole killing things bit, and now she's got Arrow actively stalking/following her. Plus, she's training to fight people, so working in any of those would be alright. We could also have the two discussing the Norse gods, who are getting stronger and almost multiplying (heck, we could even discuss Hel, which might lead to future plotting).

I could see a Gandalf and Plum thread being a good idea in the future, since he's going to want to talk with most of the magic users, and having those two at least on a speaking basis would probably be a good idea, just for future plotting basis.

Would definitely be up for a followup Remy x Plum thread as well, and he's definitely more in need of threads than Gandalf. He's become a little curious about her homeland, plus there's the whole baking obsession. She can even talk to him about girls, since he's obviously clueless (see the Max x Remy thread and the Dory x Remy thread).

I can't help but think Hel and Levi would be interesting, but I'm not quite as sure how to work those two into a thread together. I get the feeling they're both dealing with the issues of Fate (I still grin everytime i type something like that). Really, I just wanna make sure to RP with Hel too, since i haven't gotten to yet (as for the second gen, well, that depends on if I can figure out a second gen char to make for myself).

Beowulf kind of finds it really funny that Astrid is being stalked by a squirrel. However, if he gets sick of it, he's going to try to kill it.

Gandalf and Plum for sure. I don't know why I didn't think of that.

Remy has certainly befriended the right fairy. She'll definitely be will to answer questions and give advice and stuff.

Hel and Levi would be very interesting. Hel tries not to meddle in the lives of humans, but I'm sure I could force her into something and get her to interact with Levi.

And for the record, every time you write 'Fate' in a post I can never decide if you're breaking down the 4th wall or talking about regular Fate and destiny and stuff.

Well, we've already got like 1 1/2 threads going, though I'm thinking the Max x Dory thread is puttering out. So having a Remy x Plum thread would probably be a good idea: carries the plot for the characters (well, I know it will for Remy; Plum's yours, so I'm less sure there), and gets us the threadage and stuffs.

I'd table the Gandalf x Plum thread then; I've got loads of Gandalf threads atm (seriously, he's sitting at 10), and we'll have the other Plum thread to keep her occupied.

Levi's in desperate need of some quality threadage, so I'd love to get the Hel thread out. Does she have any personal plots going that might work with Levi? He's dealing with the whole recently been enchanted thing, plus he's convinced that Fate (meaning Destiny and not me) has it out for him, with the whole Arthurian legend. Plus, he works as a medic, and death and healing go hand in hand.

Which brings us right back around to Astrid x Beowulf, which we know works verra well (PoM ftw!). I'm pretty sure we could drop those two in a field of ice cream and they'd manage to come up with something. True, that something is likely a fight between them, but you see what I mean.

Hel doesn't really have a whole lot going for her, mostly be cause she's antisocial and doesn't trust people and stuff. I dunno. Hel may or may not be helpful, but I have a feeling that she would recognize Levi as someone who takes care of others and possibly maybe be more open to speaking to him. I dunno. She's complicated.

Yeah, basically you summed up those two and I'm legit down for whatever.

Why yes, I do mean Remy x Max, very astute of you (I'm tired today, and making stupid mistakes ><). Would Plum be willing to seek Remy out after the basket? Because that's what makes the most sense to me, plotting wise. She could also come across his current open thread, because he's literally gotten himself lost looking for the Land of Sweets (Remy's clueless, but I'm not telling you anything you don't already know).

Hun, little secret: I'm especially hard to overload on threads. If you wanted to go ahead and do the Gandalf x Plum one, we certainly can. He would likely actively seek her out, since he's doing that with most magic users, and he might even be able to help with some of her problems.

Well, I'd suggest taking Levi's open thread, though it is in the stables, so I don't know how well that would work for Hel. There's also the healer thing, which could possibly be workable.

I can start us an Astrid x Beowulf (or you can; that one strikes me as far and away the easiest of the bunch.
I can definitely start the Gandalf x Plum.
Would prefer if you did the Plum x Remy.
and we can either do the open thread for Levi x Hel or try to hash something out.

I dunno how Hel is going to be around horses mostly because I feel like the horses would smell death on her and be spooked. Ummm it's late and my brain isn't working. I'll brainstorm tomorrow.

Hey, at some point, we're totally gonna want to do another Astrid x Beowulf thread in light of the rumors the paper was spreading. Methinks that neither Viking is gonna be all that happy about the implication of dating or whatever. Could easily have them "accidentally" storming the office at the same time.

Also wouldn't mind trying a Remy x Giselle thread at some point. Seems like it would make for an interesting combo, and it's one that I at least want to try.

I'm also wanting a thread with Hel, but I'm more at a loss as to who to pair her with. Astrid makes some sense, since she's nearly god-touched at this point, and there's definitely room for something there. I could see Gandalf working too, and I need threads with him more than Astrid at this point.

lol I'm such a trouble maker. I wrote that article to stir up some trouble. But anyway, yeah definitely need another thread with the two of them. I like the idea of them both storming into the office. Beowulf isn't happy with the paper for that and would like to punch someone for that.

omg Remy and Giselle would be awesome cuz Giselle befriends all the animals anyway, so why not an animal turned human? I'm definitely up for that one.

An Astrid and Hel thread would be fine, as would Hel and Gandalf. If you need more Gandalf threads then I would suggest that one, then and we could Astrid and Hel some other time. Hel and Gandalf are both teachers so it would make sense for them to interact.

So, if you wanted to start the RemyxGiselle thread, then I could do HelxGandalf. And then we can finish up our current AstridxBeowulf thread so we can do the new one if that all works for you.

I'm good with doing the Hel x Gandalf one sooner rather than later too. And I figure that there's only so much more we can manage with the Beowulf x Astrid one anyways, and i can definitely start that one up once our current one starts up.

Somehow, not surprised you did the article. Will definitely give us something to work with, and it gives me some Astrid plot not related to the war and her wanting to hit things for a chance.
