personailty: Wilhelmina has undergone a rather extreme change in personality since her run in with the mysterious Count. She was once very docile and generally a sweet, caring girl. Most of the people in her family or group of friends would say that this is still true, with some occasional fits of anger, but this isn't quite the case. While Mina understands what is expected of her at home and knows how to deliver on these expectations, her own tendencies have moved to anger and hostility. She'll often contemplate how easy it would be to tear someone's throat out when they make comments that she finds annoying in the slightest.
Despite her leanings towards a dark outlook, she still finds it important to remain polite unless provoked. She is a rather sexual (at least, according to her friends) and finds this sort of seduction a bit entertaining, actually. She sort revels in this negative behavior that is looked upon so poorly amongst her group of friends and family.
appearance: It would be easy to categorize Mina as a beauty but there is something that is just below the surface that makes people uncomfortable. She sort of looks like she could eat you alive without a second thought. She had dark hair that is usually meticulously styled and big, dark eyes with a deep gaze. She used to have a healthy, sun kissed complexion but she has gone pale in recent time. She usually dresses in a highly feminine style, no matter the company. When around her family and proper friends, she might dress a bit more demure but there is a general smack of stylishness and femininity.
history: Back in the day, Wilhelmina was a proper girl preparing to marry someone she felt rather deeply for. When a mysterious man entered her life and her dearest friend died, she was suddenly thrown into a manhunt. The mysterious man, the Count, starting to feed on Mina herself, giving her some of his own blood to form a psychic connection. Mina's father and fiance (Jonathan), were told that they would have to kill the Count to get rid of these new, dangerous tendencies in Mina. Too bad the Count was too fast for them and fled before anyone could do anything.
Because of the limited blood transfer, Mina didn't make the major transformation that everyone expected. She became sun sick occasionally and required blood on occasion to functional properly but most considered this something they could deal with. Mina's internal changes weren't very noticed by the people surrounding her. If Mina could have dealt with all of these changes, there would likely have not been any sort of issue.
But Mina felt driven to get away from this sheltered life and experience the world in her new form. She told her family that she was leaving to find the Count and dispose of him to free herself from these "horrible" behaviors. She figured that was a good enough excuse to go out and live a bit before she has to succumb to the expectations of her proper life.
other: Don't even bring up that whole Jonathan thing. Seriously - she doesn't want to talk about it.
