He was right, Jenny had been given a lot of gifts in the past, some of them certainly much more expensive than the scarf he was offering her, but she wasn't sure she could describe them as nicer. Sure, they were worth more money, generally a lot sparklier, but they were given by people who were trying to buy her attention, either because they were from noble families trying to win the affection of the eldest daughter of the Queen of the Summer Country, or because they were guys who just wanted to be seen with Jenny Summer-LeGume, most popular girl in school.

But Raff? She didn't get the impression he would care much about her popularity or her status back at home. She couldn't seen any reason that he'd want to buy her a scarf other than because he simply wanted to buy her something nice. She felt a flutter in her stomach as he smiled at her - god he had a really cute smile - and she nodded. "Definitely counted." She said, returning his smile with a genuine one of her own as she handed him the scarf she had picked out for herself. "Thank you."

She glanced at the counter as he gestured towards it. Good for the earth? It wasn't something she'd ever really considered, but she nodded, trying to look enthusiastic. "That's great, like, we should totally make sure we're taking care of the earth, right?" She smiled, finding herself drawn back to those amazing eyes again. God, she needed to get a grip on herself.

"Hey, do you want to go get a coffee or something?" She asked suddenly. "I mean, like, after you've picked your gifts for your siblings. Or another time, if you're busy. Or, you know, whatever."

Raff took the scarf as she handed it to him, and glanced back over his shoulder at the shelf of figurines, trying to figure out exactly how much time he had before his siblings were out of class. As long as they didn't get off early, he should be able to manage a brief coffee date. He gave her another warm smile.

"I think I've got time for a cup of coffee before the girls are done with class. I'm supposed to meet up with them at some point, but I've got a while yet." Anyway, if he didn't show up outside the classroom right as the bell rang, his sisters would definitely come and track him down, there was no question of that. "I'll just grab the figurines I was going to get, and then we can pay and go for coffee, how's that sound?"

He moved back over to the shelf of wooden animals, and picked out two of the foxes for Tasha and Tala before turning his attention back to the other animals. There were a lot of wolves, but most of them were very large and fierce looking, and he didn't think any of them particularly reminded him of his little brother until he came across a smaller one. It was a little scrawny, but in Raff's opinion, looked very scrappy. Perfect. He took the wolf off the shelf and carried it carefully with the scarf and the foxes over to the counter, giving Jenny a nod to come with him.

"Can I also get gift bags for these three?" he asked the cashier. "This is a gift, too," he said, running his fingertips along the scarf, "but as she's standing right next to me I don't suppose there's much point in having it wrapped up."

She felt another little leap in the general region of her stomach as he agreed to a coffee, and she smiled warmly, a smile that reached her eyes - something pretty rare for Jenny. There weren't many people who could make her smile like that. "Great," she said softly, turning away so she could allow herself a quiet squeal and grin when he couldn't see. She noticed the cashier looking at her and laughing, and she grinned, raising her eyebrows and giving a small shrug as she turned her attention to browsing some of the other things the shop had on offer while Raff chose his gifts.

She followed him over as he nodded at her, the scarf for her brother in her hand, and stood beside Raff at the counter, perhaps positioning herself a little closer than she needed to, so there was maybe a little physical contact between them. She smiled again as he spoke to the cashier about the scarf, looking up at him from under her lashes. "Well, it does go perfectly with my outfit." She said coyly.

She looked back down at the figurines he had picked up and frowned slightly - sure, she wasn't the smartest of the Summer brood, but she could still count. "Hey, there are only two foxes there." She said, looking at him and tilting her head slightly. "If you're a triplet, you should have one too, to match your sisters'. Otherwise it's just uneven." She smiled, dashing back to the shelf he'd picked them up from and picking up a third, placing it on the counter with Gaston's scarf. "And now I can buy you a present." She smiled, pulling out her Dad's credit card.
