“Well, you certainly have that…” she muttered…that wasn’t weird, right? Or confusing for her? Cal wouldn’t be confused, she meant confusing for her Nancy…like…that wasn’t a normal thing to say, was it? But it was just…well, she knew what that looked like. Tori basically oozed that kind of sexy confidence…which was probably weird to think since she was like a sister to her, practically…but like, Tori openly admitted it, and whenever Nancy entertained the idea of being confident and drawing that kind of attention, she imagined being like Tori. So maybe this was envy, rather than attraction? Or did those two have to be mutually exclusive? And again, yeah, there was her crush, but who said she wasn’t allowed to acknowledge that yeah, Cal had a lot going for her?

She nodded at the description of Cal’s relative, both glad for the mild distraction and the warning. “He sounds charming,” she noted with the dry tone that was usually reserved for her mother. “I’ll keep that in mind…though I should be okay…could always fly away or turn into something adapted for fiery places…I can do that. Shapeshift…it’s actually pretty fun…” She smiled. “And useful, around here…”
Thennnn of course Cal threw out the innuendo again, but this time Nancy was a bit more prepared, it felt like. Like she expected that question to eventually come up. “Um…honestly I never thought too much about it, but I’m sure people do it all the time? My godsister might help you there…actually you two would probably get along swimmingly…like, she's big on the 'flirts with anyone she finds attractive, owns how gorgeous she is' thing too...”
Oh gods was she actually trying to set her and Tori up? That would be an interesting pair to say the least...
