She smiled and accepted his kiss as he talked of song choices and crying. If this meeting was any indication of events to come then they were likely to both be drowning in tears. They were both rather emotional people to begin with. Just focusing too hard on the event made Andy feel like tearing up again. Maybe they could have something casual on the beach, that sounded nice. They might have to have it on the beach if Merlin couldn't fix her. Andy began to daydream about the song that was playing when they first met. She could wear flowers in her hair. Maybe they could have the wedding in San Francisco. Wherever that was. Andy realized she had no idea. Was it near Tintagel? She was getting sidetracked again. Focus Andy.
"Really?" Andy furrowed her brow in concern when Mumble mentioned no one back in his world remembered the place. Where had his parents thought he had been? Where they just pretending? Andy felt a serge of annoyance toward them. Poor Mumble slowly being driven crazy in a world that kept telling him his memories were fake. It had to have been easier to just give up on all of it, to just give up on her, but he did not. Her heart swelled. She smiled at him stupidly. "Well unless we collectively shared a hallucination for a long time, I think it's safe to say this is all real." She said, trying to sound reassuring. The scary thing is there was so much magic here who knows what sort of things it could make them hallucinate.
Her expression changed to something more akin to anxiety when he moved to pick her up. She nodded when he asked her to put her arms around his neck and moved to do so. She wasn't sure how heavy her tail might be. Weight wasn't really any issue in the ocean. Her tail made her longer than she was with legs as well and the fin at the end of her tail was rather large and definitely slippery. The rest of her tail might be slippery until the air dried them a bit. She hoped anyway, she'd never had to pick up another mermaid before. She held on tight and braced herself. It was, at least, very comforting to be this close to him, to be holding on to him. Every passing moment she was cursing herself for having a tail more and more.
