"Well quite a lot of what I know is more specific, but I'm sure I can rustle up something general that'll help you out," Richard said thoughtfully, mentally running through his arsenal of tactics that were perhaps not the most sporting. He smirked a little as Mordred practically read his mind, it was good that his new friend understood the way these things worked, it would be terrible to ruin their budding relationship on something so small.
"But of course. What kind of thing are you willing to give me in return?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. He always liked to ask other people first, he was interested to see what they'd come up with, what they thought they had to offer, and in some cases, exactly how much they valued the information he had to give.

Mordred grinned, opening his arms widely. "What's mine is yours." He thought for a second, before raising an eyebrow. "Within reason."
His mood was increasing with every minute he talked to Richard. He wasn't sure what Gwyn's problem was, if he was honest - he was finding Richard utterly charming and completely delightful company. "I'm sure we can come to some form of arrangement."
He leaned back in his chair, crossing one leg over his knee and stretching his arms out over the backs of the chairs next to him. "I think this might be the start of something truly wonderful, Richard." He grinned.

"Of course," Richard nodded with a smirk. No doubt Mordred had access to a fair amount of interesting things - magic, for example, was something he recalled hearing about in some worlds, and no doubt Camelot was one of them, he wondered what Mordred might be able to do for him if he had access to power like that. It was something, however, that needed thinking about.
"I'm sure we can." he agreed, glad that Mordred seemed happy to leave it at that for now. He would think of some good information or ideas he could pass on to Mordred, and decide what he wanted in return, and they'd both get what they wanted.
