Was Apollo seriously asking for one of Milo's infamous presentations? Most people would go out of their way - feign illness, claim the death of a close relative, pull out their own teeth, make up fictional surgeries - just to avoid one of those little seminars, and here Apollo was just offering to listen to one like it wasn't any big deal. For a moment, Milo was rendered speechless, caught off guard by this unexpected generosity, then he nodded vigorously.
"Yeah!" he blurted. "I mean, that would be great! Are you sure? I have a presentation I could do on my laptop but I don't think I know of a projector that's free so maybe just give me like...an hour to change clothes and print out the slides? Where do you want to eat? Oh gosh, this is great, I can't..." He shoved his glasses up on his nose with one finger frantically.
"I could bring some artifacts too, I've got a few of those that I brought back, and then there's the..." His hand moved unconsciously to the Atlantean crystal, concealed beneath his shirt on its leather cord, worn there every day of his life since he'd returned from Atlantis. "I mean, I can go all out, if you're interested."
Just as Milo had been rendered speechless by Apollo’s offer to listen to him, as was Apollo when he watched his sweet little apple fumble excitedly over his words, so eager to please. This was what he lived for, this was why he was so adamant in his pursuit of the young historian scientist, he was just so…perfect. Eventually however he regained control.
“That sounds utterly delightful,” he said moving closer to Milo, “Please, go forth a collect everything you need for the presentation, and should you think of any other presentations you would like to show me then I would be happy to listen to them as well. I am particularly interested in Greek history.”
He laughed at his own joke and rested his hand on Milo’s shoulder saying, “There is this lovely little Greek restaurant in the middle of town. I’ll pick you up and take you there for the evening, I shall clear the place so that we can have it all to ourselves, and have no fear my apple. I will find you a projector.”

Delightful. Yeah, Milo didn't get described as delightful a lot. Awkward. Ungainly. Flustered. Those were common adjectives when it came to describing Milo. Delightful, not so much. Unless they were being sarcastic, but Apollo didn't seem to be, so Milo just blinked and wasn't sure whether he ought to say thank you or just…
Best just to nod and smile gratefully.
"I'll just get my computer and my notes and things and then…um, yeah, you can pick me up, should I like…wear anything?"
Well that was a stupid question, of course he ought to wear something, that was just begging for trouble phrasing it that way.
"I mean," he amended. "Is business casual okay, or…what do they wear at this restaurant, evening wear? Should I wear a tie?"
Somewhere in the mix, he had obviously overlooked the fact that Apollo probably wouldn't have cared if he'd worn a beach towel.
