Henry had found the last book he needed and coughed when a small cloud of dust erupted from it.
"Well you're not going to find a lot of people by just sitting and reading. From what I've seen that's kind of a solitary sport." Henry tucked the stack of books under his arm. "Why don't you try getting out of the library and actually hanging out in the commons area for a while? All sorts of crazies walk through there, and even some of the normal people."
Belle thought about it. The commons would be a good place to meet some people. It was sure to be a lot more bustling than the library atleast (much to Belles regret).
"Perhaps I will then." She concluded, more so to herself.
"At least you've met me. And I know a lot of people around the school. So that's at least a step if you want to get to know people. You'd probably get along well with Hermia. She's a friend of an acquaintance-slash-flower-picking-buddy of mine." Hmmm, this Hermia sounded rather nice. And generally, flower picking isn't a hobby that awful people do. Belle nodded in agreement, and decided she would have to meet Hermia in the future.
"How are you supposed to find your way around here when all the shelves are so tall? They could at least post signs." She smirked and tapped his shoulder, pointing to a blaring green EXIT sign that was placed high on a wall.
"There is a sign. And, for future reference if you can't see it, look at the shelves. They have little plaques on them with the section you're in, what sections are next to it, and the direction of the exit." She beamed happily. She had figured out the basic navigation of the library in only a few days, and was rather proud of it.
