SITE WIDE PLOT: THREE MONTHS LATER (PLEASE READ)

The Seige of Tintagel continues…

For the past three months Tintagel’s Resistance, led by the heroes Arthur, Gandalf, Hermes and Beowulf, have steadily been pushed back and back to the Docks. Their defence has weakened greatly and the forces of Wayron appear to be infinite. No matter how many they cut down another line of soldiers greets them the next day. Tintagel has suffered great losses, not just to its buildings but the people that once inhabited them.

War is not without casualties.

However hope is just in sight as the Tintagel Resistance has made one last effort to push the dark forces back and is finally making some progress, much to the surprise and annoyance of King Willhelm. The King, along with his advisor, General Erikson, makes plans to rid Tintagel of its newfound success by taking away its greatest weapon.

The Trenale Council has all but fled to the Island, the Trenale Guardian still publishes, its reporters still staying on the front line with the rest of the Resistance. However its columns are used more to report the injured and the deceased than they are for the frivolous news stories of before. The Grayle Corporation has gone all but silent in Trenale, however on the island they are very present, helping people with rations, helping people find work, in education and in the protection of the island. There is a rumour that the Shadow Knights, Grayle Corps security, have been fighting the Army in certain parts, however the truth in this is not known as no one has seen it.

There has been no word from the Anonymous CEO.

The Army has captured Prisoners of War which are kept in disgusting cells outside, left to fend for themselves in all weathers, they are asked every day if they wish to join the army, if they refuse they stay where they are, if they accept they join the ranks. Others though, are a bit luckier, if they’re pretty enough or talented enough they dine and rest at the pleasure of Erikson, refuse this however and the retribution is swift and comes in the form of an axe to the neck.

Name: Arthur
Status: Fighting for the Tintagel Resistance
What have you been up too in the past three months?:

Arthur has, with the others, been leading the Tintagel resistance. He has been at the front line of the attacks, involved in strategy and defence as well as finding a way to best attack the army. He did attempt to send Merlin away but it didn’t quite work out that way. When he tried to encourage Gwen to stay and fight she accidentally blurted out just why she couldn’t, so Arthur now knows that she is pregnant. As long as Merlin is ok with this he is absolutely delighted and just a little bit terrified of becoming a father. With recent successes in the siege Arthur couldn’t be prouder of his knights and what is more couldn’t be more certain of their success.


Name: Guinevere

What have you been up too in the past three months?:

Guinevere evacuated to the island and has been there ever since. She is currently being guarded by what appears to be a rota of Arthur’s knights, ever since he found out about her pregnancy, something which she doesn’t necessarily disagree with. Although she is sure she can still fight and do all the things she could before she hasn’t quite got around being nervous. She misses Levain terribly and has failed to mention to her husband and to anyone really just how much the man means to her. Island life is lonely for her however and even when the Knight Bodyguard in question is Lancelot she has put aside past hatred in order to have a decent conversation. She is very far along now in her pregnancy and getting really bored of it. Of course a new idea to ease the Princesses boredom presented itself in someone else, someone whom she can’t quite decide if she hates or loves.

What have you been up too in the past three months?:

Anastasia stayed in Tintagel for as long as she could working with the resistance to keep troop morale up and with any other odd jobs she could do here and there. On the day she was due to evacuate to the island she was taken captive by the invading army. She now lives at the mercy of General Erikson and cant wait to get her hands on a certain someone the minute she see’s him.

What have you been up too in the past three months?:

Gawain is doing what Gawain does best, he is fighting and loving every second of it. Even when they’re losing he is still optimistic that these are just minor setbacks. He’s sustained a few injuries here and there but nothing serious, just more scars to impress the ladies. He leads his own little regiment of new recruits when it comes to the fighting and have even encouraged them to wear kilts. No one is sure if this is actually a good idea but they don’t want to argue with him.

What have you been up too in the past three months?:

Ever since Apollo healed Hermes snakes and made his provisos for doing so he has found he has been losing his God-Like abilities, that he was becoming mortal. Nothing he has done has reverted or stopped this and has since found out it is a punishment from Zeus and/or Hera for treating his brother the way he did. Resigned (although forever lamenting) his fate has retired to the island and installed himself as Princess Guinevere’s personal companion and entertainer. He thinks this is a brilliant and fantastic idea. Guinevere isn’t so sure.

What have you been up too in the past three months?:

Balinor evacuated to the island thinking that someone needed to be in control of the place and to act as a last line of defence should the resistance fall. If he hears anyone humming ‘dads army’ however they will have to face down a dragon. Ever the magical creature protector he has brought some Dragons with him who live quite happily on the outside of the wall that surroundings the island and do quite well in protecting it from any attacks the Army of Wayron might attempt. Balinor has become Mayor of the island, so if there is a problem anywhere people generally come and see him. It’s a tiring and thankless job but someone had to do it.

What have you been up too in the past three months?:

Eve Royesse disappeared without any kind of warning and without leaving a message. Her whereabouts is unknown.

Name: Thor

What have you been up too in the past three months?:

Thor was seen for sometime around the island, around the front line, on the battlefield, anywhere and everywhere sometimes at the same time although no one could quite tell you where he was now. He has been seen standing beside the Viking leader Beowulf but even he seems unaware that the Norse God is near by. Thor is watching the battle with a close eye and seems to still be unsure which side he will fall down on.


Name: Edward Charming

What have you been up too in the past three months?:

Deciding that there wasn’t anything else he could with his life at that point Edward decided to join the resistance and that has been the centre of his attention for the past three months. He prefers to work alone rather than join one of the groups that make up the whole resistance, taking out spies, scouts and small groups of the army of Wayron rather than engaging in the battles. He lives apart from the resistance as well not wanting to be a part of the camaraderie. He does not know of Henry’s whereabouts, or even Snow’s. he receives messages from time to time from an anonymous source which tells him where to go and fight, but apart from that, he is alone.

Status: Fighting for the Trenale Resistance
What have you been up to in the past three months?:

As one of the first people to encounter the army and a fierce supporter of fighting in general and fighting for this cause in specific, Astrid has been on the front lines since the whole mess started. She's been fighting quite recklessly, however, and seems almost overdevoted to the task, as if she's compensating for something. She works mostly as a guerrilla fighter outside the siege proper. Guerrilla being a very loose term for what Astrid does. Her casualty rate is ridiculous.

Name: Levain
Status: PoW in the Army of Waylon Camp
What have you been up to in the past three months?:

Levi was a frontline commander for the defending forces for some time, leading a group of battlehardened veterans (he never did understand why so many of his group seemed to insist on wearing kilts). He fought a strangely defensive combat, and was known more for his low mortality rate than anything else. Nonetheless, his group has shown remarkable skill in defense, having a very high rate of success. Levi has, however, grown increasingly more surly and reserved over the past few months; this is, of course, because he misses Gwen terribly. Just prior to the skip's beginning, Levi and his group were fending off a fierce attack. Levi stayed behind to tend to some of his wounded, and ended up captured. (his first thread post-skip will likely be his adjusting to his newly captured status)

What have you been up to in the past three months?:

Gandalf had been a key factor in gathering the forces and marshaling the defenses. Once he made certain that Arthur and Beowulf were in position to lead, he began a mission of his own, leaving very vague instructions for his two apprentices: Telemain and Merlin. There was some indication that he had discovered something of vast importance to the war effort. Gandalf has therefore been missing for these last several months.

What have you been up to in the past three months?:

Remy was the first to really ship off to the island, having decided that was the best/safest course of action for him. Through various twists of fate, he has become the island's chef. Nothing else of interest has happened.

What have you been up to in the past three months?:

Once it became apparent that the siege wasn't going to be a quick thing, Chel's loyalties began to slide. She really only had ties to Tulio, who had recently become more distant. It made perfect sense to her to switch allegiances over to the Army of Waylon, though there is some hope/contention that she might be a spy of sorts.

Status: Working with the Army of Wayron
What have you been up to in the past three months?:

Jor initially started out fighting with the Tintagel Resistance, much to the surprise of many. His reason: "It would be boring if those silly mortals took over." While still remotely unused to his mortal form, Jor managed to hold his own, but he still kept away from the front lines unless absolutely necessary. He helped more with strategy than actual fighting, but as their forces were pushed further and further back, Jor's presence on the front lines became more and more common. After several significant losses, Jor allowed himself to be captured by the Wayron forces and joined the Army, using his persuasive tongue to gain some trust and intelligence. He waits amidst the Army now, watching quietly and waiting for the perfect chance to strike, for which side is still unknown.

Name: Hiccup
Status: Fighting for the Tintagel Resistance
What have you been up to in the past three months?:

Hiccup had been planning on leaving when the invasion began, but some sense of honor kept him from running away. He volunteered to help on the front lines, and his life has just gone downhill from there. By some strange luck, he has survived every battle he's been in, though not without some injuries. The innocent boy has grown up somewhat, developing his fighting skills from their nonexistent level previously. He usually sticks to the back of the fighting, dealing with the stragglers, but he's been slowly working his way to the front lines. After he found out that Astrid was with a group of guerrilla fighters, he ventured out and joined the fight outside the siege, trying to find the girl. He actually fares better outside the main fighting, as he can use stealth and the element of surprise to compensate for his physical weakness.

What have you been up to in the past three months?: Beowulf has been fighting on the front line and where ever he's been needed without fear. He's been charging into battle fearlessly, beating back the oncoming army. He's not without some wounds, though he swears they're minor. What doesn't kill him makes him stronger.

What have you been up to in the past three months?:
Hel has been doing what she does best: helping the dead get to the afterlife. She has spent much time on the battlefield while battle has gone on around her and after the fight helping to allow souls to move on, regardless if they are citizens of Tintagel or not. She also helps the dying to let go without fear. And when she is done she helps to attend the sick and attends to her father and brothers if they need attending to.

What have you been up to in the past three months?: Alana has been tucked safely away on the island, trying not to get underfoot and avoiding people in general. She feels horribly guilty about not being able to help out, but her insecurities are stronger than her guilt.

What have you been up to in the past three months?: Giselle and several of her animal friends have been living on the island, trying to keep up morale. Ever cheerful Giselle is helping out with things on the island, although there's only so much cheer she can bring to such an awful situation, but she's trying nonetheless.

What have you been up to in the past three months?: Plum has been helping out in the sickbay. She doesn't know much about medicine, but she's been doing what she can, especially using her magic to stock up on medical supplies. She's also been one to grant last wishes.

What have you been up to in the past three months?: Jasmine went ot the island as soon as the war started. She has been doing little things to help things run smoothly, but most of the time she's just wandering around, getting even more comfortable with the change of scenery. Even after three months, she still doesn't feel quite at home there.

What have you been up to in the past three months?: Bast came to Tintagel at the same time the war was getting heated, so she was forced to pick a side. She picked Tintagel's side because it was a school full of children, young and old. She couldn't let them be caught up in a war!

Status: Working with the Army of Wayron
What have you been up to in the past three months?:
In the beginning, Erik wanted absolutely nothing to do with the upcoming war. He figured that he would simply hide away until the two sides finished each other off, not even caring as to which side won. He attempted to stay within Trenale for as long as he could out of sheer stubborness for not wanting to be displaced yet again, but he eventually realized that going to the island was the only real way to disconnect himself from the war. By that point, Wayron's forces were coming ever closer and Erik found himself captured by the invading army upon his attempt to leave. Due to traumatic experiences in his past that involved living within a cage, the army's method of leaving prisoners to fend for themselves within cells was the worst possible future for Erik. Naturally, his sense of self-preservation and lack of loyalty to anything but himself caused him to accept the offer to join Wayron's Army. Of course, Erik had no desire to do battle on the frontlines and was quick to reveal his talent for causing havoc, inflicting torture, and assassination, which lead to him earning a position as a potential assassin or interigator of prisoners. Erik agreed to all this in order to stay alive and out of the cells, but his current situation frequently reminds him of those nightmarish years he spent working for the Shah in Persia, which doesn't fare well for his mental state.

Status: Working with the Army of Wayron
What have you been up too in the past three months?:

Bitter and unhappy, Dimitri blamed Tintagel for all that has gone wrong in his life since he set foot out of that portal, so he decided to put himself first and join what he deemed the winning side: the opposing army. Since then he has been feeding General Erikson whatever information he had on the individuals they were fighting, and avoiding the prisoner camp as best he could. The shouts of ‘traitor’ were off putting, and there was a certain redhead there who he knew would shout louder and harsher than all the rest.


Name: Snow White
Status: Fighting for the Tintagel Resistance
What have you been up too in the past three months?: Snow did not escape to the island despite the urging of her friends. Instead she stayed behind to prepare meals for the soldiers and dress wounds when necessary. Secretly, though, she has been training to fight, tired of being a damsel and wanting to take part in the battle in a more direct way.

She has also accepted the dragon’s attachment to her and has been raising it, first in secret, then in the open. There was more to worry about now than the presence of a young dragon among them.

What have you been up too in the past three months?: Lottie is still Lottie, just relocated, and maybe a little less cheerful and optimistic. Still, she does her best to keep everyone’s spirits up and keep them looking their best. She is desperately worried about Henry, though, and all the other brave warriors that are fighting for them. It was all very exciting in the beginning but reality has set in and in the face of death and destruction the excitement has worn off.

What have you been up to in the past three months?: After finding out that the portal was locked and wouldn't allow him to leave with all his stolen riches, and wanting to avoid both the war and this island of rejects, Tulio has gone off the map.

What have you been up to in the past three months?: Considering the insanity, Della's been strangely calm for most of the past three months. She's mostly been either working with other resisters or just going for solo sneak attacks. Mostly, however, she's been keeping a close eye on Alyss, who has recently given birth to her daughter, Victoria, which is only making Della that much more determined to keep them both safe...buuut more on that with Alyss' stats.

Name: Princess Alyss Heart

What have you been up to in the past three months?: Well, to be fair, Alyss had to be fairly careful up until recently because of her pregnancy, even though she wanted to do what she could. Even now that Victoria's born, she's not at all sure if she wants to leave. She'd rather stay and do her part, so in spite of Della's protests, they're taking shifts between patrolling and caring for the infant, as Alyss has pointed out that she's eventually going to have to fight another war anyway. Della reluctantly conceded, so long as Alyss kept a low profile, so she's essentially been Imagining weapons for those who need them, as well as playing nurse for the wounded, all while staying protective of her daughter.

Name: Prince Humperdinck of Florin
Status: Islander
What have you been up to in the past three months?: He tried his damnedest, he honestly did, to drag Lady Brianna to the island with him, but when she refused, he chose to run off instead of stay and fight. He's essentially been sulking away, refusing to talk to anyone, and refusing to admit that he's worried sick about the girl he may, in fact, be falling in love with.

Status: Fighting for the Tintagel Resistance
What have you been up to in the past three months?: The first thing Eric did when he first heard of the war on the horizon was send his beloved dog/friend Max home. Like hell he was going to be able to keep someone that hyperactive with that much of a disregard for the rules safe with all that was going on. Then? Well, he's not much of a fighter, but he's basically been doing what he can to protect anyone who may need it. It may be a bit childish, but he just refuses to let the "bad guys" win without a fight.

What have you been up to in the past three months?: When last we saw Hermia, she and Helena were considering what they were going to do about this...she hasn't quite been heard from since. Let's just hope she's on the Island or something.

What have you been up to in the past three months?: Deciding that fighting against her new so-called "best friend" Hel wouldn't be right, Artemis has been fighting the best she could against the Army of Wayron. Her best advantage is that she is immortal, so, really, anywhere Arthur will have her fight, she goes (even though taking orders isn't her favorite thing to do). She fights proudly, hoping to one day reunite with her brother and actually for real make up.

What have you been up to in the past three months?: If was wasn't for Levain, Meg would probably stupidly be dead right about now instead of being on the island. She has been living in a bit of fear, but knows that her fighter Bo would protect her in a heartbeat. Although Bo decided to stay behind and fight, they send letters, and that is the only way Meg knows nothing happened to Bo. Meg is constantly worried sick about her, but reads to pass the time. What have you been up to in the past three months?: Brianna fought bravely and persistently on the frontlines of the battle, taking commands from Arthur and from whoemever else was leading her group. Unfortunately, nothing could save her from getting wounded badly, and then eventually being captured by the other side. For the past couple of months, though Brianna's stab wound has almost completely healed, she is still a prisoner, terrified that she would never live to see Humperdinck ever again.

Status: Working with the Army of Wayron
What have you been up to in the past three months?: Morgana insisted on staying back to fight, despite what she had been told (that the battlefield isn't for ladies, that she isn't experienced enough, et cetera, et cetera...). And did just that. Fought by day, and by night, became the traitor that she was, feeding the King of Wayron and the commanders of the armies information about Tintagel's newer positions and fighting strategies. Of course, she never went as Lady Morgana, but rather, as Morgan.

What have you been up to in the past three months?: Helena and Hermia had finally decided to go to the island together and were running to catch a boat to the island, but thanks to Helena being, well, Helena, they missed the boat. As they watched the boat sail away without them on it Helena assured Mia they would catch the next boat to the Island. That didn't happen and instead they are now POW's. We can only hope this doesn't hurt Helena too much

What have you been up to in the past three months?: Fred figured if she was going to be here, and there was a war going on, she would help. She wasn't the greatest fighter, but she knew that she could help in some ways.

Status: Missing in Action
What have you been up to in the past three months?:

After seeing Lottie safely off to the island, Henry decided to join the fight against Wayron in whatever way he could. Not willing to work under Arthur and sure he would just be in the way working defense, his goal was to meet up with either Astrid or Edward--he's actually getting along with his brother since their talk--but somewhere between saddling up Black Charming and finding the guerrilla fighters he disappeared. He's been gone for about two months now, never returned after going off on his latest foray into the woods. If he was captured by the army, he would never turn traitor, but might be killed or imprisoned separate from the other prisoners of war. There's also the potential the idiot just got lost in the forest, stuck under some random enchantment.

Name: Akinyi
Status: Islander
What have you been up to in the past three months?:

Akinyi went over on the boats fairly early in the war, knowing that most of the school security would be needed to fight. Her job, as she sees it, is to maintain order on the island, a task she carries out by walking around waving a stick and calming people down when it looks like they're getting too out of hand. She's slowly learning how to comfort people who are just worried for loved ones on the mainland or who learned about a death. She sees her place as defending the inhabitants of the island, whatever that means.

Status: Fighting for the Tintagel Resistance
What have you been up to in the past three months?: Although Bo misses her beloved Megara, she is doing everything she can to fight the Army of Wayron. She doesn't want Meg to feel scared at all, and sends letters to her every day (It seems like the only thing she CAN remember to do). She protects the streets and shops from the fast-approaching armies, which most people don't really think about. Despite the importance of the school and the docks, Bo can't help but think about the shops and the people who live on Main Street. Instead of using a standard sword, she carries a sharp and stealthy dagger. She also likes to stab her enemies with needles bathed thick in tattoo ink.

What have you been up to in the past three months?: Loki has been, well, Loki, he hasn't really seemed to get all that involved in the war, he just went over to the island and started causing his usual kind of trouble there. But the army of Wayron keeps claiming they have a god on their side, and Loki disappears a lot. Who knows what kind of trouble he's really getting into.

Name: Fenrir

What have you been up to in the past three months?: Fenrir wasn't getting involved in the mortal's struggle, he didn't much care one way or another - until he got caught in the crossfire and taken prisoner. Now he has to be chained up in a cell to keep him from going completely berserk, and he stubbornly refuses to join the Wayron forces - it's not that he has any particular loyalty to the resistance, he just refuses to bow to anybody who would hold him captive.

What have you been up to in the past three months?: Merlin has pretty much stuck by Arthur's side like glue, something he was always going to do anyway, but now that they're actually in a relationship it's even harder for Arthur to get away from him. There was an attempt to send him to the island, but he shut down that idea pretty quickly, knowing he could be more useful closer to the action. Every time Arthur tries to talk him into leaving, he brings up how many times Merlin's saved his life.

Name: Pooka
Status: Deceased
What have you been up to in the past three months?: Not wanting to leave Anya's side, Pooka refused to leave for the island until she did. When the army attacked and took her prisoner, the young boy tried to attack back. It ended predictably tragically.

Name: Cinderella
Status: Missing in Action
What have you been up to in the past three months?: Cinderella wanted to fight but she had no idea how or what she could do, still she stayed to try and protect those she had grown to care for. After skirting around the edges of the resistance for some time, she finally stepped forward to ask for training. Not long after that, she disappeared and hasn't been seen for nearly a month. (Still hiatused until I decide what I'm doing with her)

Name: Lancelot
Status: Fighting for the Tintagel Resistance
What have you been up to in the past three months?: Lancelot is fighting by Arthur's side and pretty much doing whatever is demanded of him. Though Guinevere is now actually remotely pleasant to him, being in her presence is painful, reminding him of the child he left at home. He intends to leave as soon as he can to get back to his daughter.
