Random question:

Is any of the stuff we posted on the old site available anywhere, or did it all get deleted?

I had a fanfic posted on there, I don't know if anyone remembers it, about Mordred, Morgana, Tristian etc - it started off with Morgana in a hovel singing a lullaby to baby Mordred and went on from there, last bit I'd written Mordred had infiltrated Camelot and killed Tristian...

In changing over my laptop, I appear to have lost it. I can't find it anywhere, and I'm freaking out cos it was one of the best things I ever wrote... Does anyone remember it, or know if I can find it anywhere, or retrieve it from oldAva??

Depends on which Avalon. the last Avalon on Freeforums was deleted so there is no way of retrieving anything that was on it. As far as I know, though, the threads on original Ava still exist, but only a few people can log in to see them, and none of us here have access any more.

I think it was on Original Ava, but I'm not sure. :-( I'm pretty sure the documents are still on my old laptop, but my stupid external hard drive only backed up one of the two hard drives on the laptop, and now the thing is pretty much bust beyond repair and I can't switch the damn thing on.

Perhaps I can appeal to someone's better nature and see if I can get access to Original Ava. I won't hold my breath though :-(

My sister had an external hard drive crash once and was able to take it to a computer shop and they were able to retrieve everything that was on it, but it costed her. So it's possible the stuff is still there, but you might have to pay to get it worked on. Not sure, though.

I got it back!!! :-D All except one chapter which I think got posted on the freeforums site, but I was given access to the site, got into the archives and got all my stuff - God I wrote some awful stuff XD

If anyone has anything they want from there I can attempt to get it for them? Let me know :-)
