personailty: Robin is dashing, cocky, charming and funny, all those traits you'd expect in a hero like Robin Hood - and all those traits that can get annoying in the flesh. The worst part is that he's probably not over-confident, he usually can do most things that he sets his mind to, and his charm makes it hard to stay mad at him for long. He seems quite care-free (especially these days) but he is still very haunted by his past, and he will always be there when he's needed, he is a natural born leader and likes to appear strong in front of pretty much everybody.
appearance: Scruffy but attractive is pretty much the best way to describe Robin, he's not the type to take care of his appearance even though he's a lord, because he's so used to running around battlefields or forests, he's a soldier so it's just not important to him to keep neat or clean when there's more important and interesting things to be done. That said, he does enjoy a nice warm bath, so he's not always completely dirty - he is usually fairly scruffy though.
history: Robin's childhood was fairly charmed, growing up in Nottingham as the son of a lord, with a beautiful young woman living nearby, what more could he want out of life? He didn't become one of those lazy, irresponsible lords however, he trained hard, earning himself a place in the King's Guard, and when the call came to go with the king to war, despite his love for Marian he knew what he had to do, his King needed him.
The Holy Land was brutal, and he grew up a lot in the short few years he was there, even more when he returned to the land he loved and found Nottingham in the grip of the evil sheriff. He couldn't stand the injustice for long, and quickly took to the forest to help free his people. He came to Avalon for allies, though soon realised he was just dallying here and needed to return to Nottingham, which he did and succeeded his aim - only now he had a new war to win, he had to prove to Marian that despite leaving her so often to fight other battles, he did truly love her.
They recently married, but he doesn't think he's won that war just yet.
