Eyes like diamonds she stared up at him, dazzled by the perfection of this moment. She clung to it, breathless with the hope it presented her. The range of emotions that coursed through her body, some she was sure that she couldn't even name they were so impossibly wondrous, warmed her body from the inside out. Her skin flushed with the heat, spotting primarily her cheeks with red. This was it then. Love. She daresay she felt it before, wrapped in the arms of a sweet talking merman, yet she could safely say that never has she felt something so intense. It was pure emotion to the point that she struggled to recall where she stood because all her thoughts jumbled each time Mumble made a move.
She felt a moment of panic, realizing her complete and utter dependance on him here and certainly from now on. Her heart in his hands, his to hold and mold and hide from harm and, apparently, his heart in her shaking palms as well. A moment of brief fear as her previous self, obsessive over past pain triggered the need to find some place to hide. To her slight astonishment and immense delight she realized that she was compelled to only be closer to him, to let him take all worry away like only he could. No more running from the only person who could save her. From now on she'd be running to him, the idea was enough to cause a funny tickle in her stomach that inspired a smile so big that you'd think she might dissolve into laughter at any moment. A grin so magnificent that it only ceased the moment he brought his lips to hers.
The heat she had been feeling earlier hadn't subsided and her lips burned with his for a brief moment until he laced a hand around hers and asked for a dance. Now, to pretty much everyone else in the world, this might seem like a nice gesture, but nothing compared to the fiery kisses they had been sharing moments ago, not to mention their words of love and adoration, but not to Andy. If there was one thing Andrina Triton knew about Mumble that was beyond certainty, it was the fact that Mumble is a dancer. Though not a dancer herself, Andy understands his passion not only because she has seen the way he loses himself in performances, but also because she has found herself lost in the same way, only with her singing instead. There are some things in life that she is certain can only be expressed through song, just as she's sure there are things Mumble can only say through dance. So even if most didn't think so, this was a big deal.
The combination of euphoria and the general absurdity that he even had to ask, like she'd say no, must have gotten to her, because she laughed a little too hard at Mumble's small poke of fun at himself. She covered her mouth and shook her head apologetically, though her hand hid a grin. Once sure that she wasn't about to break down in giggles she removed her hand and smiled up at him, swinging their tangled arms slightly, childishly. I'll try not to step on your toes she countered his self destructive joke with one of her own whilst indicating that, duh, of course she wanted to dance. With him. And try not to fall on her face. Oh what did it matter really? If he could love her even after all the retarded stunts she's pulled then he could love her with a bruised face.
