As predicted and expected, Arthur stepped up and paid for everything. It was not necessarily a point in his favour as any gentleman would have done the same whether he could truly afford it or not, but it certainly would have ben a strike against him if he hadn’t done so, not that the possibility had even crossed Lottie’s mind. He didn’t really need to work for points either, as simply being a prince was all the merit he required to hold her interest.
