Caz frowned at her, "Look, when I said it doesn't matter, it doesn't matter....got it? I said it's nothing."
There was a bite to his tone, he was just annoyed how powerless he was, and that was what made him snap, it wasn't Door particularly, but he was suddenly very annoyed that she was annoyed with him.
Bi-polar much? Caz turned to look at her, "Look, I understand that we're friends, I understand that we were friends even as teacher as student, but I don't understand why you are so committed to helping me. I was a stranger to you and you just--"
He bit down on his lip hard. The last time he'd let someone in, this had happened too. His youth had come back and his memories replaced.
"I don't get you Door, I don't get anything about you..." He couldn't read her and it annoyed him, so he turned away. "I know I said to stay, but I've got too much to do and we're not getting any further in our conversation than normal, so..."
He couldn't tell her to go, but he wanted too. He didn't want to ask for her help and he didn't want to figure her out. Maybe a part of him realized that he was afraid to figure out why she liked him at all...either way, Caz was adamant about it.
Door stared at him. What the hell was wrong with this guy? She was gonna leave fifteen damn minutes ago before she told him freaking everything about her that she had been trying to forget. He told her to stay. He asked about her magic. She had told him...everything. And now he didn't get her? Now he didn't want to bother with her again?
She kept staring at him, trying to figure out what exactly she was going to do. She was so angry she couldn't speak. She didn't know any of those fun pyro spells that could light his carpet on fire. She thought about slapping him...that one lasted awhile. But, in the end, she did what she always did - she gave Caz what he wanted.
She just shook her head, walking past the man. She left, slamming the door behind her.
