Personality:Kiara’s one of those..almost disgustingly optimistic types. She prefers to see the positive in others rather than the negative, and will always choose the brighter path. She was raised knowing the difference between right and wrong, but she will never judge those who are in the wrong. She’d much rather go out and have fun than spend the entire day working on something. Chase a butterfly here, run from the rhinos over there…oops. Wrong form. Anyways, Kiara tends to be naïve, and will believe almost anything anyone tells her, unless she believes it is not right. She keeps an open heart and is willing to give anyone a second chance. Her free spirit and independence have gotten her into trouble more than once, and each time she learned something. That is how Kiara has become the lioness – er, lady she is today. She’s not a big fan of being treated like a princess, so if anything, she’d rather just be treated like anyone else. Royalty just isn’t her thing.
Appearance: With her long dirty blonde hair and hazel greenish-blue eyes, Kiara is almost certain that she can dominate the fairer gender. She’d rather not, however. She stands proudly at about 5’6’’ and has a fit body that she works often. A grin is usually seen on her bright and sunny face. When she dresses, she is always found in something glamorous and sunny, to reflect her inside. Always in heels, a dress of some sort…Fashion. She loves it.
History: Ever since she was young, Kiara had been told stories of the great kings of the past. She believed with all of her heart that her grandfather, Mufasa guided her father in his ruling. And he did. Simba was wise; a little overprotective, but wise. And while she had fun with her buddies, Timon and Pumba, and even Zazu at times, she felt like there was something missing, and she couldn’t quite put her finger (paw?) on it.
To Kiara, everything happened for a reason and nothing went unnoticed. Not even the day she met a lost soul who seemed to be searching for his identity. She was more than happy to help him find it, because she had really enjoyed that day they spent together. They were little. They should have been allowed to play together. Unfortunately, they didn’t spend enough time together, because Kiara would have taught him a lot more than just never turning his back on someone and tag. But in that time that she played…they had fun. At least, Kiara did. And she was sure Kovu did too.
The wedge Simba, and Zira, Kovu’s mother, drove between Kiara and Kovu was far too great a barrier for them to even remember one another. Kiara had long forgotten about him as she grew older. From time to time, she’d spot an object that would jog her memory about some…childhood friend she had for a little, but she didn’t think too long and hard. She was taught to never look back. The past was the past. And Kiara only looked at the future, which seemed to be pretty bright from this point on.
She was sent to school to learn, become wiser, so she could one day be the queen of the Pride Lands. The one thing Kiara had not been anticipating was the body change. Being human was most certainly odd, but it took her minutes to accommodate. She liked the way she looked very much, and…apparently so did a few others, but she didn’t take notice of those guys. So maybe Kiara didn’t like the whole “follow the rules” thing she needed to do to pass in school, but at least she was here alone. With no one sneaking around to keep an eye on her. Her father finally trusted her enough to leave her alone for a bit.
Other: Dreams most certainly do come true.
