Not that I don't appreciate a good, loverly "we love everyone" post here, I'm going to give everyone the kudos they so richly deserve.
*turns on "Life's a Happy Song"; takes deep breath*
Shini you are in many ways the site's mom (or co-mom with Spookles, really). I've always felt like you were someone who genuinely cared about other people and RPing. Plus, Merlin's always been one of my favorite characters to follow, especially the way you write him, for some reason. I'm genuinely loving our Gandalf x Merlin thread, and I specifically designed Levi's debut thread for Merlin so I could get some of the chemistry going there again. He's a lovely character, and you've always been one of the examples I use as a good RPer.
Rem - though it will likely make some people jealous, I've often thought of you as one of my favorite people to RP with, ever. There's always something about your characters that I feel inexplicably drawn to. You are one of the few RPers that I feel jealous of in many ways. Add on your OoC charisma, and you're easily a force to be reckoned with. Special kudos for Eve, who I've been hearing awesome things about. Not to mention the fun I'm having playing with Arthur, and my soon to be joy at reuniting Levi and Gwen.
Spooky - I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I haven't always been your biggest fan. Maggie, Rem, Shini, and everyone always told me you were awesome, fine, and stuff, but I think I was having some of the blurring between IC and OoC. Mostly because you kept stealing my love interest *half-teasing*. I've grown since then, and come to be routinely impressed by you. I genuinely respect how you compose yourself OoC, and I think you're one of the better staff members I've seen in that regard. Furthermore, your characters are always so well written. I half took Chel to start mending bridges and sort of tease Tulio, possibly even as a half-apology for Tom x Chel. Mostly for RPing. I do that.
Jasmine - dear lord, how did you ever get so nice? It's always impressed me how friendly and nice you were to everyone. Sites need people like you, who seem super willing to give hugs and help people along. Your characters have always struck me as being incredibly original too. I have to admit, I half thrust Astrid onto Della for sorta the same reasons I thrust Astrid on Merlin: me loves the relationships and the characters.
Quinn - your excitement and enthusiasm are infectious, and in all the best ways. I find it highly amusing that you're usually so cheerful, and you've some of the most depressed characters on the site. At the same time, I can't help but grin at Hermes' smarmy nature as he attempts to charm, whether it be charming Chel or working the rest of the group. I can just see Andy in the background too. And Dory! She's so spot on and pure fun!
Emily - I don't know that I ever really knew you back when I was on the site for my first run, and now I'm thinking that's a shame. I tip my hat to you as an excellent RPer, encompassing many of the best characteristics RPers need: willingness to post with just about anyone, dynamic characters with different personalities, and a responsiveness that is great. I seriously meant everything I said about Beowulf. I'm also a bit of a Max fanboy, which might explain the authorial bent on Remy's sort-of crush on her *coughs*.
Pip - man, how I missed RPing and just plain talking with you. I think there was always this accord between us, as sort of the two guys of the site and all. When you weren't immediately here and I got back, there was this great sadness and Pip shaped void. And wow, does that sound mushy. I've always loved your unique style of writing and characters, and I can't wait to set up the relationship between Telemain and Gandalf. To say I'm looking forward to Kay is an understatement, especially with Levi waiting in the wings.
Naomi - I find your writing to be quite good, and though we only have the one thread and not as much history, I still find it to be a fun thread to RP in. You're another person who shows the willingness to RP that's always good in a RPer, and I'm constantly impressed and/or flabbergasted that you're nearly keeping up with me in our thread.
Becky-Ann - you strike me as such a sweetheart. I haven't yet had to thread with you, but there's this overall sweetness about you and your characters that sort of permeates from what I've seen. I see a lot of potential here.
Beki and Tibby - I don't even know if you'll see this, but you are certainly missed. Both of you were people I recall with great fondness from my time on the site previously, and I am definitely looking forward to the chance to get some threadage in with you two now. I realize life gets ahead of everyone, and I'm all in favor to see more of it. Just know that you are definitely missed.
Thirteen - Again, I don't know if you'll see this, but it means a lot to me that you were willing to follow me here. I know it's not entirely your thing and you sometimes feel awkward around these other people, but you've always been one of my favorite people to post with and plot with, since way back. I wanted to share the joy of this site with you, and you were the very first person I thought of and wanted to invite.
Neon - You know full well that we hit it off marvelously. Like 13, I was psyched when you got here, but almost moreso, since 13 is practically obligated to do what I ask her to. When I offered to you, and you were excited to write with me again, it meant a lot to me. Then, Doc showed up, and he and Gandalf got on like houses. To say that I'm thrilled every time there's a post there is a bit of an understatement. I sincerely hope to see more posting for you, and I can't wait to see how things go with the rest of the people here.
Penny - sorry about the glomping; I was just so excited to see someone else I knew that I hadn't actively head-hunted. Believe it or not, I remembered our threads quite fondly, and some of them were among my favorites. Then, Charming appeared, and he's an absolutely awesome character that is so perfect for this site it's not even funny. Plus, you gave me someone for Astrid to finally beat up! I was beginning to think she'd have to pick on Remy, and that would just be awkward. Seriously though, I love the char, and I love that you're here. I'll just make sure to keep my glomping to myself in the future.
Sweets and Fedora - I'm sorry to say I didn't get as much threading with you two in the past as I would have liked to. This doesn't stop me from being excited to see you both here, and I'm as eager as ever to start posting with you two when we can. Know that there will definitely be some characters waiting for you, and there's one happy Bunny to see that we managed to convince you two to come aboard as well.
Zena - I always thought of you as something of a RP protege, and I'm so glad that you managed to follow my breadcrumbs here. I've been consistently impressed with your writing; I'm not sure I was that good at your age, and I'm a professional now. If you can keep it up and keep working with the people here, you'll grow into someone to match some of the best of it. I'm just glad I can help with that in some small way.
Xalcen - dood, I never thought we'd still be on the same board six years ago. I actively hunted you down to let you know that there was a place for you here, and I'm glad that you're interested and getting ready to settle. I've seen your characters and seen how well you react and plot, and I'm hoping you can get that same thing here.
*another deep breath*
Methinks that's everyone. And yeah. You're awesome; the lot of you.
