Personality: Dory is a very simple person, really. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand that Dory is...well no rocket scientist. She suffers from short term memory loss which translates into her being the queen of all ditsy girls. She literally cannot remember what she had for breakfast, though some days are better than others. She’s easily distracted and EXTREMELY drawn to shiny objects. So she’s not the smartest fish in the pond, but does she let that get her down? Not a chance, she just might be the peppiest person you’ll ever meet. With her winning grin and sparkling eyes, its hard not to let her lift your spirits. No matter how hard life gets she lives her life by the one motto she can always remember: just keep swimming. The only problem with that being now a days, of course, is the fact that she’s no longer a fish....don’t bother telling her that, however, she’ll forget it a moment later.
Appearance: She’s a pretty girl and by all means adorable, but she hasn’t quite grasp the concept of attraction. She enjoys dressing in brightly colored clothing and lots of shiny jewelry. Despite her memory loss, this little fish has a pretty good sense of her own style. She really enjoys dressing up and putting on make up in different ways to get different looks. She’s quite artsy, though she never had the opportunity to express herself a lot as a fish. Now that she does, she can’t get enough of it! Give her something to draw with and something to draw on and she’s off to the races.
She’s got lighter skin, she didn’t get much sun under the water...and her skin as also blue and yellow...so. Her hair is died red though she often likes to change that as well. She got a lovely smile that always brightens a room and lovely dark dark brown eyes.
History: Dory may not remember, but she’s had quite a few adventures in her days as a fish....actually not really. On good days she can remember that she had a family at one point, its likely that they forgot about her just as quickly as she forgot about them since she also tends to recall that her disorder runs in the family. She has had a pretty simply life leading up to this, just living, being happy, not remembering anything hardly every so everything is always new and exiting. Its like she’s rediscovering the world every time she wakes up to a new day. She’s never made friends, no one sticks with her long after discovering her ailment. Everyone always ends up upset with her when she can’t remember, that is, until she met Marlin. they hadn’t gotten very far on their adventure to find his son, but it was still longer than any one else had stuck with her. They had just narrowly escaped sharks and traveled into he darkest part of the ocean. Thats when she got lost and spotted something glowing not to far away. It was inside a cave and it looked so very pretty she just had to touch it and then ZOOM she was sucked through the portal, turned human, and thrown into the world of Tintagel. Now she’s a girl and can hardly be expected to retain any other information besides that simple fact.
