Personality: Red has a firey personality. She’s learnt a lot from her childhood traumas with wolves so she has a tendency to be a bit of a hardass sometimes. She tends to be viewed as a bit weird, especially by the standard village folk she’s used to seeing but she’s immensely loyal if you befriend her. You do not mess with Red and you do not mess with Red’s friends. Her worst traits are a quick temper and being overly defensive. It’s going to take a good while for Red to learn that the world isn’t always out to get her. She has no qualms with getting violent. To her it’s the quickest solution to nearly all problems, talking about issues in bathroom stalls seems pointless and takes too long.
Appearance: Red is lean and well toned, standing at 5ft7. Her hair is dark with a slight curl to it as it reaches her shoulders. Due to her intense workouts she hasn’t got much in the way of curves. Small breasts don’t bother her, if they were big they would get in the way and Red would rather not go all Amazonian simply because her boobs were getting in the way of her weaponry. Her skin isn’t deathly pale like she’s seen on some of the princesses around, and although she isn’t tanned you can at least say she’s been outside at some point in her life. Deceptively, Red looks like any normal Caucasian 18-year-old girl. She favours the colour red in her clothes, particularly her comfy red hoody and red parka coat. She also likes big army boots.
History: Red had a naïve and innocent childhood until one day she went to her Grandmother’s house and was attacked by wolves. She was saved from being killed like her Grandmother by a woodsman. From that day she decided that she would never be unable to defend herself again, she started by getting the woodsman to teach her how to use an axe. Over the years this changed to knife and eventually to gun. Wolves are now scared to go near the house of Red Riding Hood and there are messages howled around the area when one of them spots a red hooded girl in big army boots. Surprisingly Red hasn’t developed a phobia of dogs, she is however, extremely suspicious of their motives.
Other: Dreams do come true
TELLtheTALE
Sample Post:
Red was strolling down to the village from her family home. It was nice to come back for holidays, though of course, calmly strolling around her home region for Red meant continually twirling a hunting knife in one hand. She was walking a path that edged upon the woods and as the light was becoming dimmer she was becoming more and more alert. A cracking noise assaulted her hearing just to the side of her, almost instantly Red shifted the knife in her hand and threw it in the direction of the disturbance.
Hearing it thunk into a tree her shoulders relaxed and she sighed “Crap…” Her boots made quick work of the awkward forest floor as she made her way to the tree which was obviously about to attack her. She grabbed the knife handle and was surprised when it didn’t move; Red didn’t think she’d thrown it that hard. Huffing in annoyance she grabbed the knife with both hands, planted her boot onto the side of the tree and pulled as hard as she could. Red ending up on her backside a good few metres back from the tree, the knife had easily been liberated from its barky captor and Red came to the only suitable conclusion. The tree was mocking her.
She had half a mind to set it on fire.
However, knowing that setting fire to one, quite frankly rude, tree would start a terrible forest fire she decided against it. Also it wouldn’t help the psycho kid reputation she had somehow gained in the village. Dusting herself off, Red picked up the knife and carried on down to the village. She couldn’t help but mutter about noisy trees and got quite a few odd looks though. Nothing she wasn’t used to.
