Hello everybody!
After much discussion, we here at Tintagel have decided to try out a new system for keeping track of activity. It will mean no more of those pesky activity checks, but it will require a more steady stream of activity (not too much to ask I think).
The system is detailed in handy-dandy bullet points below, PLEASE make sure you read and understand this. Once you've done so, post "Reading you loud and clear" as a reply (and if you're not, please ask for clarification).
Once this scheme is implemented, we will not be accepting ignorance as an excuse.
This isn't the strictest of systems, and a lot of it will be dealt with at the discretion of the mod you contact, but please don't allow yourself to become complacent and assume we're not going to enforce it, because it is a new rule and just like any other site we'd like you to follow the rules.
Plus we want you all to be posting!
The first check will take place in a week or two, if any characters are named as inactive in that first check, they will NOT recieve a point on their profile, to give chance for everybody to get used to it. But only this time.

The New System
- The mods will check the member list periodically for inactive members. This should happen once every month or so, though actual intervals may vary
- If a character has not been posted for two weeks or more (without a posted absence) their member group will be changed to 'inactive' and they will be PMed a warning.
- If no further activity occurs for another two weeks, that character will be made available again.
- If you wish to contest the decision, you may do so by contacting any of the mod team, and it will be dealt with at their discretion.
- PEOPLE WITH MULTIPLE CHARACTERS - are not immune to these rules, but some leniency may be given at mods discretion
- REPEAT OFFENDERS - Each time you end up in the inactive group, you'll recieve a point (similar to a driver's licence), three points will result in the character being made available again. Points expire, and you lose one for each month without incident.
- You may reapply for a character that you've lost, but be aware we will be more dubious about giving them back, particularly for repeat offenders.
